The High School season is almost to its end with about a month left. Im trying to see who some of these High School kids will be playing summer ball for. If you know any or have any rosters to any teams please post it so people know who's on who's team if anybody wants to go watch.

I like to see a roster for Bluegrass Cheifs , I been told this could be Rob Sander best team he has had in a long time.

u-16 Kentucky Colonels will essentially be next years CCH varsity team.

How many kids tryout for u-16 Colonels, or is CovCath just that loaded with underclassman. I know two of the top sophmores are playing for Bluegrass U-16,Embs and Teegarden.

Are you sure about this number? I know it was this number the first year but several people told me there were less than 25 for the U18 and only about 20 for the U16.

Actually you may be right. I know the first year it was very very high. The most recent tryout probably had about 45. They cut some after the first day. On the second day there was probably about 20 to 25. Sorry about the number mix up, there was not 70 there this year.

Yeah, I talked to someone who tried out for U16 Colonels. They said there was about 30 kids.

Tommy is doing great on the JV level but he did pitch against the Boone County Varsity in a game back in April. He went three innings and got the W.

Arzen (Win) 42 pitches 3 innings 11 PA 2 hits 0 runs 2 K's

Hey TOG, I thought you had to pitch four innings to get the win in high school. Similar to MLB having to pitch 5 of the 9.

Actually, I went back and you gave Fagel the win and Arnzen the save against Boone:

CovCath pitching:

Fagel (W) 53 pitches 4 innings 17 PA 3 hits 3 runs 2 earned runs and 1 walk

Arzen (SV) 42 pitches 3 innings 11 PA 2 hits 0 runs 2 K's

CovCath hitting:

Siemer4 PA and 1 hit

Warning 4 PA 1 hit (double) 1 rbi 1 K 1 sac and 1 hbp

Klein 4 PA 1 hit and 1 walk

Nienaber CR and 1 cs

Gerwe 3 PA 2 runs scored 1 hit 1 walk 1 sb and reached base via E-4

Martin 3 PA 1 run scored 1 hit and 1 hbp

Lankheit 3 PA 1 hit (double) and 2 rbi's

Taylor CR and 1 run scored

Severson 3 PA

Schlagbaum 3 PA 1 run scored 2 hits (double)

Stein 3 PA and 1 sac

Grosser 1 PA and 1 fc

CovCath with this victory finds themselves 10-7 and I am not quite sure if they play a game on Tuesday!
