Cooper 2010

Featured Replies

What does Cooper need to do to improve in 2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Cooper has added a few nice size kids ! Looks like the numbers will be up also. Its been a long road in 6A with just 40-45 kids ! Looks like they will have over 60 this year. With Bradly back he should have a big year. Good luck Jags.

Bradley back or not they should have good year! The team needs to come together this year. Seems alot of drama goes on off the field. I see they got some new coach's that sould help alot. Good luck Jags!

Coach Burnett has returned to the staff. The QB coach is Mike Lewis. If anyone can remember he played at Ludlow and was a stud at QB. Cooper's wide receiver coach accepted the same position with Turpin High School in Ohio so he will not be returning. Should be a very exciting year for the Jaguars with a majority of the players returning. Anyone know who could possibly take over at QB for the Jags? What about that Freshman QB Morris I believe.

Morris will be a good QB but their is alot of work to be done for him to compete at the Varsity level. He is very agile and quick but not very big and has to learn to use his Offense of threat in the spread. He has to work on keeping his head up and looking down the field but it will come in due time . Good luck to Jags.:ylsuper:

Very fair and good evaluation of Morris. Good post JP. :thumb:

Sounds like a very good, fair evaluation. I heard there was another young QB out there who could be in the mix as well. Another sophomore I believe. Do you know his name or anything about him?

I seen them work with the Webster kid , he is a sophmore. They also worked with Centers there too. Both kids look like they are good football players, not sure if I would use Centers at QB , he is a better RB or maybe FB. I think they will go with Morris he will be there best option this year.
