What does Lloyd Memorial need to do to improve in 2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Lloyd has got to get more players out. There are not that many kids in the weight room conditioning right now. Looks like a young team this year.

Where do all those Erlanger Lions kids go? Is that program still successful?

They go to Dixie, Cov Cath, Highlands, etc. Year in and year out the Lions program has quality teams throughout, very good coaches in the program. If Lloyd wants to return to their dominant ways, these kids have to stick around.

 

Is John Dunhoff (sp?) still running the Lions program?

No I am not running Youth Activities after 25 years. I stay involved and give them ideas from time to time. People are right our kids are from all over Dixie, St Henry, Boone, Cherry Hill subdivision. There are enough kids at Tichenor to field both the Lions and a 7th/8th grade program however kids don't want to participate. Believe me we have tried to get them to come out. As for the Lions program it continue's to put out good football teams and have very good young football coaches in which several have played for me at Lions and at Lloyd when I helped out there. JD

Alot of the kids have been going to SK to play pretty sure Sage Powell and Tyler Pinkerton played for the Lions when they was younger.

There was also Nate Powell who went from Erlanger Lions to SK. As well as Taylor Centers to Cooper and DJ Powell and Kellen Jenkins to CCH. Watch out for Dexter and Dillon Smith though. They will make a huge impact at Lloyd the next few years. Great hitters.

I know Centers went to Cooper he moved in with his dad. Why did these other kids go to other schools ? Lloyd dont have much to offer kids they have cut out alot of programs.

Lloyd looked very good at the passing scrimmage at Newport. They are young but have a great bunch of talent. They could possibly surprise some teams this year.
