Any word if Cooper Freshmen will be playing the big schools this year??

Highlands will have a very good group coming in this season. Tyler Schweitzer and Nick True both started as 8th graders and Schweitzer got Best Defensive Linemen award. Nick True is 6'4 and is a huge target at TE. They also have another big stud in Brandon Hergott who goes probably 6'2 170lbs as an 8th grader.

Yes they will as far as I know. I cant see them staying in small Div.

Can't wait to see the CovCath Frosh after watching the 8th grade team go undefeated during last years middle school football season.

 

Heard they will be adding a couple of young men that played in the Boone County League including (don't remember his name) the young man who won the award for the best back, like Bobby Beatrice did a year or two ago!

 

It will be another fun season in Park Hills!

Really, I don't remember the name, I just remember that Bobby told me about him a couple of weeks ago and the young man winning the best RB award.

 

When you think what CovCath has in Pope, Dressman and this young man, it's looking good and will be fun, for the CovCath Frosh.

Let's not forget about the group that is coming from FTJFL. Jaylen Hayes IMO was better than any back that played on the Freshman team last year. He is scary good and even better hitting on the other side of the ball. Trust me he is good....

Tru dat. I forgot about him. Any word on where Mac Franzen is heading to HS? He is about 6'2 now and the word on the street was he wasnt completely sure on if he was heading up the hill or down the street to HHS.

I'm sure Beal was "Player of the Year" even though he was the RB. I imagine RB of the year was someone else.

Brandon Hergott is flat out good. If I were a betting man, I'd say he'll have an outstanding career as a Blue Bird. He's also a super kid on top of all his athletic abilities.

He definitely is a kid who has benefitted from being held back in grade school and he has developed into a fine basketball player as well. He could really be a special athlete at Highlands if he works hard. His pops was a pretty darn good Football/Basketball player back in the 80's at Highlands and his Uncle may have been the best QB to ever play at Beechwood.
