I am not sure why parents would object to Ken Morgan but based on his record in the NKYFL, there is no doubt he would make Campbell County's freshman team a winner on the football field.

Heck...based on his record, why wouldn't CC name him as their Varsity HC?? PeeWee coaches have great success in HS. :notworthy:

For the sake of an arguement, there was a lot of sarcasm in that statement..

Sorry to get snippy. I personally know all the people who voted. I personally voted for Zach. But I know that it was a hard debate for some coaches. I even talked to Zach about this. The senior division really doesn't have that issue with the CCRD. I see it in the younger divisions. They were really fair about the vote. Zach will be a stud and him and scruggs really had a good time in the all star game.

Is Jonathon a lock to go to Holmes? I am assuming that he is a Covington kid.

There were more than a couple of people in the stands at the NKYFL Superbowl that mentioned Cov Cath was a real possibilty.

So what will Campbell County have next year at the Frosh level besides Harris and Geiman? Does anyone see this program turning around in the near future?

Holmes getting Scruggs is going to definitely improve that program right away. Avery is also going to be at Holmes and he is a solid athlete.

Holmes will definitely have a few outstanding athletes in the next couple years on their football team in Scruggs and current Freshmen Coston and Desean Peterson. Peterson and Coston played a ton of Varsity this past season already.

Is Harris going to CC for sure? Schneider and Wood will be solid players.

I have no clue, I just figured since he was a Red Devil that he might be headed that way. Does he have ties to NCC?

Brandon Hatton is playing football next year he's an incoming freshman and i heard he's a stud.

Would he play JV?

For who?

For who?

Dixie.. He is one of the top two or three 8th grade basketball players in the state. He plays varsity basketball for Dixie and plays a lot...

How is Ryle looking? I have not seen them doing their off season workouts?? Is coach Rudd still head coach of the freshmen???

Zach Harris' brother Jarod started at QB for one of the title teams t NCC a few years back. Zach was in the parochial system but went to CCMS during this past year. I spoke with him recently and he has not made up his mind (or at least his parents hadn't).

He is currently at Holmes and in their weight program. He is loving weight lifting. I do not think they ever thought of going to CovCath. He wants to stay with his friends and relatives that go to Holmes. They have some real good quality kids in the probram. With the talent currenly and coming to play at Holmes they should be a very storng contender in 4A. It would be nice to see Jalen Beal play both sports at holmes. Peterson, scruggs and beal would be 3 potential all staters on one team.

I heard this as well.

He's been to the school and unless something very recently changed...he is coming to BW.

If Hatton decides to play football at DH, he is an impact player on the varsity level- no Frosh or JV for him.

That will be impressive to see.
