Dixie beat Cooper's reserves when coach played 1 starter, 1 part time starter in the 2nd game after they got beat by Boone.

Went down hill is an understatement. I got there at end of 3rd and watch with Conner fans on left field fence. Conner scored 6 in the 4th on 1 hit!!!! Why didn't they pull Dunn after his 4th walk in a row? The defense made a couple errors that inning but the defense will be flat when the pitcher is walking that much. Then they send him back out next inning and walks the 1st one or two in that inning. Dunn has been the best pitcher this year but when he loses the strike zone he loses quick and it don't come back to quick. Help the kid out and get a reliever in. They played 3 games in 3 weeks so plenty of available pitchers. He let the Conner bench get in his head but he will be very good as he gets older. If your coach wants to win, why does he pull nearly all starters in the middle of 5th when they still have 3 at bats to go? And, it's the top 4 or 5 in your order. I talked to one of the parents and he said after last year when some parents tried to get him fired for his outburst, he now treats it like Little league and plays everyone, regardless of importance of game. Come on coach, PLAY TO WIN... Conner is the better team top to bottom but not by this amount.

I understand Thompson, Coopers best player, left for spring break and was not there for the Boone or Dixie game either . The paper had him hitting over .600.... I'm sure this doesn't help the offense much. Not a good thing for him to do to his teammates, IMO. Hang in there Jag's and pick each other up.

My son is graduating so I won't care as much next year but will still pull for them to win. Bradley would be a big loss for anyone. Their offense will be weaker but their defense will be better and IMO will win their district next year which is weaker than the 6A they played up to in the past three years when they were 4A size. I'm done. Thanks for the homework you did on Cooper and enjoy Beechwood track season.

I would say good "progress" as they didn't win the games they should have. But I would agree you are probably a "football novice" and should stick to track and Cross Country.

You have got yo be kidding me ! Were you at the game ? His play calling is the worst I have ever seen !! Borchers has a way better team this year and will have the same amount of wins !! Your nuts if you think this guy is a 6 A coach . He can take the blame in about 4 games this year !!!!! Im just glad this is my sons last year with him ! IMO he should go back to Ludlow were he belongs !!! You can tell the boys there coach lost that game for them, since you must be a coach on the team !!! Any parent on the team would not defend that guy .....

Neither team is probably proud of there records and Conner did beat Boone somehow. But if you look at the other 5 common teams they played, Cooper has been closer than Conner in the losses and beat Lloyd and Scott by bigger margins. Cooper will celebrate there first District win and knock Conner out as they will the next few years as well. Boone better prepare for the playoffs!!

Really! Conner is a powerhouse this year. I don't know why others don't see it. The Cooper boys will be sky high to knock off Conner on there home field... in Hebron.. on SR. night.. and YES, it will happen. Conner will lose the next few years to the Jag's. They are down in talent. Boone better get ready for the playoffs because they are going to get there.

Borchers needs to give the play calling to someone else !! 3rd and 2 you give the ball to Bradley not roll out for a pass with a Qb that cant walk !!

Don't know much about South Oldham but Cooper will own the others.

Everyone knew Cooper was the underdog but was voting "against" UK#1fan. Your Conner team was humbled a lot more on their home field last week against this same team. You beat a bad Boone team in the last minutes and you are back on your high horse. You need to hope you can beat Campbell, if not you will be watching the playoffs with Boone.

Cooper got out played and out coached ! SK played a great game no way Ryle will beat them if they play like that. IMO Cooper looked lost out there I also seen a coach push and slap a kid on the side line . They better be glad that wasnt my son , I would have jumped the fence on that one . Maybe if Borchers had some older coaches insted of collage students the kids would respect them more ! Looks like to me they need to start taking some of the blame instead of yelling at the kids on the side line >

Conner is not as good as their record.

Cooper will beat Conner and will be close with Boone. Conner was/is overrated. I haven't seen Campbell play yet but it sounds like Cooper may win this one as well.

Looks like to me Cooper needs to do something different on D.. Maybe a blitz now and then!! Looks like they just sit back and wait for the ball to come to them.

You can add all you want! It's funny how you always find a reason for CovCath's loss! CovCath won the scrimmage, don't try to say that they used different backs and things, to down Cooper. You always down a school in a polite way, but we can see what you are saying! But thanks for your input, Theoldguy!

I think Cooper will get some respect this year ! They gave Covcath all they wanted in that game ! I think some of those Covcath dads were upset with the refs !!!! I would think they would have more class than that . After all it was just a scrimmage.

Bir started at QB and looked very good !

Freshman teams had to drop there last game of the season to have a playoff. Conner was there last game . Cooper freshman starts off the season with Covcath.

Cooper takes on Covcath Friday the 13th at 6:00 pm at Covcath. I think Cooper will turn some heads at this one .

So Cooper would be 4A. I think that will change this year , getting new freshman classes in . Each year it seems to get bigger !

Dont mean to sound like I dont like the guy ! I think he does a good job ! Just dont agree with the helmet thing thats all .

Then they should wear them to the game ! Also wear them when they win. Dont say its for safety if it is for punishment. Call it what it is !
