Campbell County is better than people think. They have some stuff to clean up but I think this game is abouth the same as last year. Camels by 21+

The score doesn't reflect how well the Camels played. They will learn from this and I expect a nice run from here on out. I would say the Birds would agree. Go Birds for another state championship and Camels for another district championship plus much more.

There is no charge for the game tonight but they are taking monetary doantions at the gate for the Tom Potter Scholarship Fund.

I think the spirit of this thread was stated originally: What does Campbell County need to do to improve in 2013? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive. Campbell County will be fine and I am sure they aren't being given credit for how much they have improved plus a couple nice additions. If you want to start a thread about the Highlands vs. Campbell County game that is 3+ months away then have at it but otherwise this has nothing to do with this thread.

You can add Sweitzer(Highlands) and Schneider (Campbell) to the OL list. Both will be playing at the next level.

It is April. Campbell County will win district again. They have the best coaching and that is what matters. Not the line, qb, etc. 3. In a row.

I will say the top couple of lineman will include Schweitzer-Highlands and Schneider-Campbell County.

This may have been one of the fastest nonblowout games I have ever watched. 1st hals took 25 minutes and game was over 1:25. Neither team reached the bonus in the first half.

Ryle has a nice team and this game was never in doubt. My favorite part of the night was when the announcer asked the Ryle fans to please show some good sportmanship. Talk about over the top. I am a Campbell fan and glad. I would be embarassed to be associated with that group. These are 14 and 15 year old girls. Cheer for yor team not against the opponent.

I agree completely. CC only plays 4 Srs on offense. 2 of the 5 lineman are sophomores and maybe their best lineman (#74) is a junior. They also don't have many seniors starting on the defensive side of the ball. Team will have a different look next year but Lickert's system will produce a team with consistent results for many years.

Alot of positive things for both teams to take out of the game last night as well as some things to work on. Ballard and CC are both going to be a tough out in playoffs. Wishing both teams the best.

The only thing I don't understand is if you look at the KHSAA wbsite they only list two teams in district 2(Meade and Central Hardin). Nelson County isn't listed. Are they still 6A?

For 2011 and 2012 playing season, the 5th place team in District 6 of Class 6A will be bracketed as the number four (4) seed in District 2 for the purpose of making playoff pairings.
