[h=3]CovCath has the honor to play the first (even though it is a scrimmage) game at the brand new Campbell County new football complex this Friday Aug 16 with the kickoff coming at 7pm[/h]CovCath and Campbell Varsity, JV and Freshmen will all play against each other with the Frosh playing on the Campbell County practice field.

 

The scrimmage will answer a lot of question I am sure for both sides and unlike some scrimmages, it will be a competitive contest for both teams and only make each better going forward into the season.

 

Looking forward to seeing players hitting someone, other than their own teammates!

Stadium is sweet. You'll enjoy it. I'll be up watching the freshman but I will definitely be peeking down the hill at the big boys. Looking forward to the sound of the pads popping!

I had it but "The Boss" deleted it by mistake. I do know that the fourth quarter is going to be played by those who didn't play in the first three quarters and or JV's players, also the PAT and FG will not be live (no rushing).

Should be a good measuring stick for both levels- Varsity & Freshmen. Pretty sure varsity is running live for 4 quarters with last quarter reserved for boys who did not play the first three.

 

Freshmen will be 10 plays on O/D then eventually a couple of live quarters. As the Freshmen both play each other during the season I would not expect a lot of fireworks from either side. Bread & butter stuff most likely.

 

Coming away healthy while learning some lessons is priority #1

I think I might like to go to this one and pass on the trip to the ville.

Since it's so close to home and we have to pass by anyway to get to St. Mary, the hubby and I will be stopping by to check out this scrimmage. Looking forward to football season!

The Frosh I believe will be playing 10/"O" then 10/"D" plus maybe a quarter or two.
