He's solid....still tweeking early in the season but he should pick up steam as the season goes along. When he figures out how explosive he can be going to the basket his ppg will go up. Had a real nice perimeter game against White Station with 5 trey's.

Another tough loss for Dixie in the KOB. Dixie led this one by 11 after 3 qtrs. only to see Rowan go on a run and send it into OT. Stansberry with 27 and Hatton 23 for Dixie. Townsend had 32 for Rowan including 16 in the 2 OT's.

Dixie vs Rowan Co. @ 4:30 Stansberry may be out with broken nose for Dixie.

I'm guessing exhaust fans.

I've seen most of the teams in the 9th.....Dixie will be fine.

Always a good win up on the hill. Nice job by Dixie playing through the foul adversity. Hatton, Stansberry, and Evans all handcuffed with 4 fouls in the 4th quarter was a big factor in NCC putting up 28 in the final period imo. Not a bad 1st game for the Breds...they should be a tough out in March.

Is he eligible? Strange time of year to be switching schools.

I don't think Cohorn and Bruns are playing and I saw them on there also.

He opted to pursue other activities. I think he could've been a contributor this year with his size.

I'm also curious to see how the Niehaus kid develops over the season...looks like he'll have a nice opportunity this year at the varsity level.

Here's my 2 cents...... Stansberry returns as their leading rebounder and shot blocker. You'll see the (frosh) Niehaus and possibly Caple and Milligan getting PT. Milligan came over from the football team (I'm thinking 6'4" 260) Keep in mind Juwan Evans while not tall, plays long and can outjump most big's in the ninth. Dixie's guards also rebound well in Hatton, Hassel, and Fox. As far as who plays where?....I'm guessing they start out with a smaller quicker lineup until they can get someone groomed into the 5 position. Once they do that, it will allow Stansberry to do his thing on the perimeter. I don't see boards being a big issue in ninth region play, but when they play some of the teams down state, things could get dicey. Time will tell....Dixie's December schedule is brutal.

No idea on potential playing time for Jake, but he'll be an interesting one to keep track of.

He's at Jacksonville University..... He hasn't participated in any games yet since his Frosh year is upcoming.

I believe Kevon Rice was a Senior last year.

Like Clyde said, he's new to the 9th Region and very few have seen him play around here. He sounds very promising and should make for a very tough 1-2 combo with Hatton the next 3 years.
