Very good for Jackson! I was not aware. Kid can play. Like I said I was not aware, but was not sure. Has anyone else played JV?

Sean has pitched much more for JV than the frosh this year. On days when JV is not playing he will play with the frosh but has not pitched much. Stallman is the other frosh who has seen some time with JV this year, he as well as a pitcher. He has pitched more for frosh than JV I would guess. With the strong Soph class playing JV, no other frosh have sniffed JV for Cov Cath as far as I recall.

I thought he was replaced in the last inning. I could be wrong though. But, I know he could hardly walk after the game and is headed for an MRI Monday. Hoping he will be OK in the long run as he is a player.

The Colonels forgot how to play defense today. (Friday) They had at least 8-10 errors, and of course the most costly ones in the last inning. CCH also only thru two pitchers today. Losing the starting catcher during the game to injury also hurt the team. As Clyde stated CCH played Moeller and Highlands and unfortunately once again played terrible defense, losing both. The most frustrating thing as a parent was watching the guys on at least four occasions fail to catch a simple pop- up due to no one calling it and taking charge. They were beating Moeller until the sixth inning and then blew it. Highlands jumped on them early, andcontinued to add on until I think it was the fifth inning. Coach was not happy with weekend play and already told the boys to be ready to work, and that practice on Monday will be an hour longer than normal. Before anyone says anything, the Camels, Crusaders and Bluebirds all deserved to win the games that were played. They never stopped playing even when trailing and made the timely plays needed to pull out the victories.

And the weather was even worse for the freshman game that followed this one, from what I was told. Fortunately the Colonels won that one big, after 4 innings

My guess is that the administration there is going to make a move to bring the Holy Cross Freshman coach who last year led her team to the Regional Championship - to NCC. Maybe she coach's JV for a year and then takes over Varsity. :idunno:

If it bothered them much, I would not expect them to be laughing. Maybe you would see scowls on their faces or something. I also think you would see mistakes made by them if they were at least flustered by the crazies.

Does anyone really think the Crazies affect the inbounder? I love what they do, and want to see them keep it up. As has been stated several times here the opposing players are seen laughing and seem to enjoy it. I also do not think any one of them would say they feel that the crazies yelling at them during the inbounds affected their inbound play. Does anyone recall the crazies causing the opposing player to either not get the ball in, or throw it away? I certainly do not.

Nick's dad is John. From the CCH website the freshman roster: So including the freshman on the JV roster they have 18 freshman amongst the 39 in the program.

So if two freshman are on JV, how many players from last year's freshman team will not be playing this year? I thought they kept a pretty large number last year as well. Very curious to see the final rosters.

Does anyone have the rosters for Cov Cath? i heard 16 freshman made the freshman team, which does not include Thelen who is playing JV. I am curious who from the freshman team did not make JV / Varsity as well.

Blessed Sacrament I believe has not played in the A team leagues (Catholic or Public) for the last few years. Has that changed?

My son played against her team a few times the last couple of years. Good coach. Kids play hard. Gets everything out of them. Each time we played them they played extremely fast. Seemed like she knew alot about basketball, and made solid in game decisions.

How many Pius kids are trying out for Freshman? Any idea?
