She is not cleared yet? Didn't she play with them this summer? I thought I read on previous threads here that there is no way Highlands would have played her had she not been cleared already. What happened?

Cool! Glad to hear Jackson is able to continue doing something he loves to do. Will be rooting for him to do well and win every game, except when they are playing Cov Cath.

Good luck to Coach Otte. Hate that Cov Cath is losing a good one, but that happens when you have a good program. I am sure Matt has learned a lot from Scott over the years.

Pulling of course for Cov Cath in the finals. If they win, I think their final record would be 28-4. Add that to the final record of the freshman of 21-4, with both winning regional championships you have a pretty solid foundation IMO. Congrats to both teams on fine seasons.

Cov Cath run ruled the cougars tonite in the final freshman game of the year. Final was 12-1 after 5. Stallman pitched complete game for the Colonels. Conner thru a couple pitchers, who really did not throw that bad. Errors, and mental mistakes really did the cougars in tonite. Not sure they had the sticks to win, but the game would have been closer without the mental mistakes and errors. Congrats to both teams on great seasons!

Yes Evan had a great game behind the dish. Not only did these help Sean keep pitch count down, but, you could feel how they squashed the momentum that the Highlands players were feeling. Especially the one in the top of the 6th. Great job Evan!

He pitched a great game this time, just as he did the last game when Highlands won 3-2. As far as CCH depth goes, I have to agree with everything that has been said. The Frosh and Soph classes should help the baseball program compete the next few years, just like in Basketball. One thing that will be very interesting to see play out is, which guys from this years Frosh team, either decide not to play next year, or are cut from the program. I am guessing there are some pretty good players who will not be in the program next year.

Cov Cath beat Highlands tonite in a very well played and pitched game. Final score 1-0. Great game. Also very fortunate to finish the game before the rains hit!

I bought a new laptop, and it came with it. Other than the auto updates, I have no real complaints about W10. And, like I said, since marking my WIFI as metered I have not had any updates without me knowing it so I may have taken care of that issue. Now I know I also spent way more time setting W10 up as there are so many more settings about syncing, cloud, etc. Way more than I expected. Other than that though, it is not too bad. I agree though about how pushy they are with it though. My older machines I always seem to bet getting requests for Windows and IE updates Since I hate IE and use almost exclusively Chrome I can ignore those too! And it is way better than 8......

I had the same issue. Since I did not have much un-backed up data on the laptop, I re-imaged the computer from a back up disk. So, in effect I have the computer back as it was brand new. I also made my WIFI a metered connection which is the only thing that I have been able to find which will allow you to turn off the auto updates with Windows 10. I am honestly am not yet sure this works, but I can say that I have not had any updates take place since I did this. That's the one thing I hate about 10, not being able to easily turn off auto updates.

Agreed. The last one was a fun game to watch! From what I recall, Highlands scored one in top of 1. Cov Cath scored two in bottom of 6th. Highlands scored two in top of seventh. Only thing that would have made it a better game would have been if Cov Cath would have scored two in bottom of seventh!

What are you basing this on? I am a Cov Cath guy with a boy on the team, but I am pretty sure I would not consider them the favorite.
