2011 CCH grad Jackson Walsburger has joined Newport's staff as the JV head coach.

 

Jackson was a Mercer County and then Lexington Christian while he was a student at UK.

 

He also has coached AAU ball for quite a few years.

 

His dad Tony is a long-time coach at St Pius.

 

Just goes to show you do not have to be a basketball star to be a coach. Just a passion for the game and a desire to teach.
