This game was a treat.

 

Conner tied it up in the bottom of the 7th and both teams went scoreless for the next 4 innings thanks in part to two of the best JV pitching performances that I've seen this year. Noah Litke (CHS) came in relief in the 5 and went the distance. Jairus Wilder came in relief for BW in about the 4 or 5th and hit the pitch count limit with the last batter in the 12th. Then Tyler Wagner closed it out. Both catchers were phenomenal.

This was a game of momentum shifts and great defensive plays to get out of innings.

 

BW will play Cov Cath tomorrow at Dixie HS, 7PM for the Championship.

Clay Trusty is very solid behind the dish. Beechwood has another freshman catcher that is as good or maybe better in Dylan Doverspike.

Cov Cath has Burke and unsure of the other C but he looks very good as well...not sure of the name but I've seen a decent catcher at St. Henry. I'm sure I'm missing some but I didn't see all the schools.

Not 100% sure but I don't believe so...Birch and 1 other at Varsity for BW.
