Yes I am. My guess is the number of Cov Cath folks not rooting for New Cath is pretty small

Though I'm a CovCath grad, I am first a 9th Region fan.

 

Each year I want the best team from the 9th to represent even if it's not the Colonels.

 

I saw during the 9th Region Tournament that NewCath was shaping up to be the team with the best chances at Rupp so even going into the 9th Region final I was rooting for the Breds all the way, and was delighted to see them dominate.

 

Even with my CovCath older brother sitting next to me not realizing that I was rooting for them.

 

He had not seen Ben Weyer play much and until that day wasn't terribly impressed. I kept singing his praises and finally my brother realized. He realized alright, all the way home with a knot in his stomach.

 

I'm thrilled like crazy that they are kicking serious butt at Rupp, and I've been overjoyed so far with what they've accomplished in these first two games of the Sweet 16.

 

Who does what they did to Trinity?

 

Nobody....

 

....But the Breds did, and held them scoreless for 16 minutes while going on something like a 26-2 run!

 

That's just crazy!

 

Today they shot the lights out against Murray and again I was so excited to see them take over like they did.

 

I dig everything about their TEAM, and feel safe when they go to the bench.

 

They've got the tools to get this done. Sure Dunbar's gonna be a big test and I'm counting on the Breds to be focused and be competitive. No matter what they won't embarrass, and no matter what they've got a lot to be proud of so far.

Not a CovCath fan, but everyone in the 9th region should be rooting for NCC

I'm an Ncc grad with CCH ties. I am sitting at the Hyatt Bar with half of the CCH coaching staff. I can tell you with full certainty that they aren't breaking ranks with their 9th Region Brethren.

They are rooting for NCC. Good guys. They know the 9th Region struggles in long past years. They are on board.

 

They want the 9th to be recognized as a top region.

Why wouldn't the Blueboys root for Newcath? There's no bad blood that I'm aware of.

I know all my family and friends who are CCH alumni are pulling hard for the Breds.

If I am not a CCH fan, am I allowed to say that I am rooting for NCC?

 

At this time of year, I feel we should all be pulling for our regional representative.

I think all the schools should root for there region. NCC's success is a tribute to the the strong 9th region.
