UCON JACK!

Yes how old is he?

Geisler had much more help under the basket this past year. Next year he will have a much tougher time reaching those numbers with less talent (missing brother Matt Geisler) around him. I like Stauffer ahead of Geisler here also.

Yes I agree good fine gentlemen. I wish only the best for them in there futures.

God bless Bruce! He helped us all remember how easy it is to have fun, let your hair down and cheer like there is no tomorrow. He was loved and will be missed.

Looks like the Mustangs have a bright future!

Holmes and Highlands should be one and two in the 9th.

:idunno:

Tigers will be missing size inside. Unless someone new with size inters the program. Cruise will not be the answer inside. Kyle Daniels has a leg up on the job. Cory Crane could be the answer at the point. However both Kyle and Cory need work, they should be working on getting better all summer. Anyone have a update on their progress? Are either working on their game and playing AAU etc? Right now it looks like Crane (if he plays) at the 1; Nick Hall at the 2; Johnny P at the 3; Tyler Fangman at the 4; Kyle Daniels at the 5; I believe they will be fine against the single A teams. However going against bigger schools with size the Tigers will struggle. The 2 Sophmores mentioned above are good athletes and could get playing time. However both working on football and not playing basketball this summer, which could set them back.

Bo Menefee was Herald's assistant....

I was shocked Highlands defense allowed this lopsided NCC victory!

Holmes 58-43. They will play to their oppents level for 3 quarters then blow them away in the fourth.

NCC by 20 if they leave starters in.

Highlands by 5.

Both teams are coached well! I haven't seen Boone play but I know 6'0 Pohlgeers as mentioned earlier is not correct. Pohlgeers is at least 6'2. I agree the bench will be the difference in this one. If BW stays out of foul trouble they can win. If Smith gets into foul trouble early, Boone runs away with it. Fouls will be the difference.

AND THE FINAL IS?

What is the lastest news with 10th grader Jake T health? Is he out for the year?

I see Campbell County winning this one. I think Coach Code will figure out a way to pull out a win here! If Nerl is playing.

:thumb: I agree completely..... I will quote Ken Shields on this one, "players are made over the summer, teams are formed during the season." That being said, I think players hard work in the summer via AAU give them the extra work and experience the need. There is a huge advantage the kids court presence from year to year with AAU competition over the summer. I understand some kids get burned out. Those kids I think don't have a true love of the game, kids that love the game can't get enough. I think the Holmes team are a good example of that. All the top player in the area excel during the summer playing AAU. There no doubting that fact.

Holmes isn't 24th in the country and ranked because of Arnold! I saw play very little AAU because he had trouble sticking with any one team. Really not trying to bring him down. He is a good player just attempting to give ETA RHO a reality check. Holmes is the real deal not sold on Arnold. Sorry

Bench Players! What are those lol!

Arnold and Thelen... are good players. Attitude and team concept count big on my best players. Both have glaring weakness in their games. Arnold needs to work on ball handling and moving to his right. At his height he doesn't like to get under the basket and rebound. Thelen's defense needs to improve along with his outside shot. Every kid has things to work on. These kids are good but its my opion I would like Geisler for my big man.

Thelen CovCath Hodges Conner Robinson Conner Arnold Holmes Smith Scott Trammel Dixie Stauffer Ryle Allen Holy Cross Giesler NewCath Montgomery Boone Co Brown Boone Co Maschinot CovCAth Connelly CovCath Give me break! No disrespect intended to any of the above mentioned players. All are nice players. I would take Giesler over Thelen and Arnold any day of the week! I don't think anyone on this list besides Thelen should be mentioned from Covington Catholic. I don't know all the players on the list. I know there is a few very good 10th graders in NKY not on this list I would take over several on here I do know.

Congrats Breds! Good Luck moving forward.

Middle School doesn't count in High School. White was good! Clines can not be compared to the rest of the above players. I agree Code is better than Reitz however doesnt mean I have to like his style of play. Reitz never had a Nerl & Albrecht, with Frazen and Jolly! I am not defending Reitz, Code is a improvement.

Hummmmmmmm Reitz......... never had this talented a team. Code is a step up over Reitz but Code needs to let the kids have fun and play this great game. Quit over coaching and let the kids know its ok to make a mistake and let them play through them.
