Thoughts and predictions?? The Bulldogs won by 14 earlier in the season, but the Raiders kept it close for three quarters.

Holmes should win this one pretty easily, by about 15-20. But hey, thats why they play the games. You ask anyone in Union that attends Ryle and they will tell you they think they can win, and they are going to play the hardest they have played all year in this one. Its tourny time and the Dawgs have too much experience here though, they should come out and match Ryle's intensity and let there skill and athletic ability do the rest.

I just think Holmes has to much athleticism in this one. If Holmes is having a bad shooting night and Ryle's bigs can score down low then this one should be close.

I believe this is what the Holmes players have been waiting for. The march to Rupp starts with this game. I usually don't make predictions such as this, but I believe the dogs win by at least 20. By the way tiger, that aviator looks like a guy I wants remember shooting similar to that in the red and white of the bulldogs. If memory serves me, maybe even the same number.:sssh:

Step one to the "3-peat" and getting back to Rupp begins with the Raiders. Holmes defense will be the difference in this one as they seem to have really turned it up a notch lately and Ryle isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut. I see the Raiders keeping it close in the first half, but by mid third quarter being worn down from Holmes press.

If Ryle scores down low, a large if, this game could be fairly close. Lots of things have to go right for Ryle to have a chance, most significantly, a very bad shooting night by the Dawgs and over 50% shooting by the Raiders. Should be an intense defensive battle and I would not be surprised to see tempers flare. Dawgs should pull away late. If a "1 out of 25 chance" upset were to occur, it would be by a razor-thin margin. Most probably, Holmes by 14 would be my best guess. Good luck to both teams.
