Holmes vs Ryle

Featured Replies

It seems like every game Holmes plays, there are people talking about how every team could pull the upset.

It seems that unless you blow teams out of the water, any team can upset you. While the dogs have had close games this season, its those games that measure your toughness. I believe the dogs can go all the way this year.

There will be no upset, no close game in the ninth. IMO Holmes will win every game by double digits :thumb:

I'll politely disagree here. I think they will have at least one close game.

You have that right to disagree :thumb:

:isurrender: This is what the 9th will be doing.

Mark my words!!! :taz:

We won't know about whether they have 3 big wins until next week. I continue to say Holmes is the favorite and it will surprise no one if you are right. I simply feel that they will have at least one close game.

Nope:p:lol:JK

To many close games this year for Holmes. 82-56 Bulldogs

I think Holmes wins this one pretty easily. They are far more athletic and I don't think Ryle has enough to stop Rico and Elijah. I sure hope Holmes wins region because they are by far the most exciting team to watch and they have the best shot out of anyone in the ninth to win state.

I do agree that Holmes has the best chance from the 9th to actually win state. But, I'll root for the u-dog since I'm not a Holmes fan. Plus, a humongous upset would mean that another team from Boone County has a better chance to win the region. :D GO RAIDERS! I actually hope it is not an easy game.

If Holmes plays as a team, and as a team on a mission, the game won't be close, but if one of the players starts to play for himself well.... Holmes by 21...

Remember, all 35th district games featuring the Holmes Bulldogs will be broadcast live on internet radio during the upcoming 9th Region Tournament. The Covington Catholic Internet Radio team of Mark Wehry, Jason Elfers and Greg Spencer will be bringing you live action from The Bank of Kentucky Center. If you can't catch it live you can always listen later on the archive broadcast. Just click on the links below.

We will see a whole new Holmes team for this Regional tournament. I think they will beat Ryle by double digits. Ryle just doesn't have enough matches for them. I wish the Bulldogs luck in this tournament. They will be a fun team to watch if they can make it to Rupp.

Decent first round opponent but Holmes should be fine.
