I will take St. Henry by 3 in the upset.

I like Highlands to rebound and win by 13. The bluebirds have a huge size advantage inside. St. Henry may be able to neutralize the big men by making them run on the large college floor. Should be fun to see what strategies the coaches come up with.

Both good coaches. St. Henry will win on a last second shot!!:taz:

These two teams match up fairly well. Highlands won early in the season by 10 or so. Seems like Highlands is still favored after losing by 20 in the district final to NCC, while St. Henry is still getting over looked just like Faust likes it.

Highlands 50

Faust is the best coach in the 9th Region, he gets the most out of his talent every year. St. Henry wins in a close one and Willie goes out with a hard fought loss.

To be honest, we are blessed with a lot of great coaches in the 9th. Hard to pick "the Best"

I cant believe some of the posts I am reading. Highlands beat em by 10 early and will certainly outmuscle the Crusaders down low with Grubbs/Watson/Dill and Kowolonek can leap out of the gym.

I think it is closer than 10 pts but the Birds will take care of business and be focused. Grote needs to start scoring more for sure though.

Gryche11 you seem quite certain. Were talking about a team that just lost its district game by more than 20pts? St. Henry played Highlands very early in the season. Volz wasn't even in the rotation then and I believe they have many more players that have improved since also.

I think Highlands has more muscle and better post prescence, but that doesn't mean they win. St. Henry has some good shooters from the perimeter. They are one of the best FT shooting teams in the region and very good defense squad. What is so hard to believe about the post your reading? Most of them seem logical.

I have seen this type of statement several times on BGP with people inferring that St. Henry doesn't have much talent to work with. Why do people seem to think St. Henry doesn't have talent? They are a basketball only school with some very strong feeder programs. St. Henry has talent every year. Faust is a good coach but don't try and tell me St. Henry doesn't have talent.

I think some may be overlooking the Birds because of their big loss to NCC. I see them coming out and taking care of business. St. Henry really has no one to stop Highlands inside game. I see Grote and Kowolonek having big games.
