  1. I do not know much about Betsy Lane, but based on past I am guessing Gallatin is the favorite?
  2. Lets go Mustangs! (clap, clap... clap, clap, clap) Hoping the Mustangs win but I know it will be close! Winner will win by 5 or less. I'll take Brossart.
  3. Wow, I really do not know how this thread has gotten out of hand. All I know is that Brossart gladly drives to each venue year in and year out and for the most part stays quiet. Luckily for those not wanting to drive up to Northern Kentucky, can listen to the game via the bmustangs.com website. I just do not recall a thread like this from brossart supporters when we drive down to southern counties and venues, even when parking spaces were sparce. I would consider this an awesome opportunity for all of the players and coaches. If nothing else, this thread has brought attention to the 10th region all "A". Maybe we can get some outside supporters wanting to check out how well Brossart really does hosting the event!
  4. I think a lot of their improvement can be credited not only to the players themselves, but also to Coach Feldman, whom I believe will continue to improve his team throughout the season.
  5. I do not know the initial reason but something happened where Scott hosted two years in a row so the deal was for Brossart to host two in a row following. I am sure Mustang has more information
  6. For a rivalry such as this, the game will be ugly at times, very hard fought, and a close one until the end. The great thing about this game every year is that it is early in the season so both teams really are not sure where they stand. I will still take my stangs in this one: Mustangs: 54 Camels: 51
  7. Both sides full of turnovers in the first half. 19-0 run for the Mustangs in the third quarter won them the game.
  8. Where are all the O' Hearn bashers from the other night!?!?!
  9. Mitch was truely an amazing person. I cannot think of ANYONE who loved life more than he did.
  10. :confused:What game from last year? You can't mean the game where the score was 36-2 at the end of the first quarter! (I think). I have tried to forget this game from last year! Let's hope this years game really helps me foreget!
  11. Why do they even draw then?? funny how things work out!
  12. Is anybody going to be able to give updates on the game? I know they are broadcasting at bmustangs.com but my speakers are broke!
  13. Brossart has not beaten Mason County since 2000 when Brossart took their only trip to Rupp!! I am pulling for My Stangs to win this time! Maybe this will be another great start to a new Decade! GO MUSTANGS!!
  14. Newcath has been playing well, as long as they shoot well outside they will win. They live and die by the three. However, Geisler is usually there to clean up the mess. If Newcath has a bad shooting night and Boone keeps Geisler off the boards, Boone wins. In my eyes, I see this one being a 10+ point margin win. I just do not know who! Just depends on what I said above. I'll go with Newcath, 65-54
  15. Mason seems to knock Brossart out of the tourney EVERY year. Maybe it's time for that to change? If Brossart wants to have a chance, they can not get down 19-8 in the first quarter like they did against Scott. I do not think they can recover from that deficit against Mason. Nonetheless, I see another battle! should be fun to watch.
  16. Campbell came out with a great defensive plan that caused problems early for Scott. Tough fought game for both teams. Sad to see the end of Brady Jolly's High School career. Great kid. Congrats Scott.
  17. I mentioned that that needed to use him more. Yes he had a double double, but all of his points were off offensive rebounds, which it is fine to score that way. But if you have a guy that nobody can rebound against, don'tt you think that means he should be able to score at will?? he could have had 30 tonight. No matter what, NCC played very well, knocking down every shot they saw.
  18. This one is absolutely going to be a fight. If Newport contests shots and bother NCC's shooting, they get win #2 against NCC. If NCC shoots freely, they will win. I think Newport is long enough and athletic enough to bother NCC. They split for the year, but in a tournament setting Newport came out on top. I will predict the same. Newport 62 Newcath 60
  19. Sanker played an amzing game tonight scoring 31 points. I know Peters had 27 but if your Campbell, you get her the ball even more! She should have scorewd 50 tonight. BBHS had no answers for her. Dumaine is out of control with the ball. dribble dribble dribble with her head stairing at the floor. Campbell did not do anything to stop Sanker either. She came wide open under the basket in transition a couple of times. How do you lose her??? Congrats Brossart!
  20. Thelin is a really nice player. Very tough to guard. Congrats colonels.
  21. I knew Highlands would have a hard time matching up. But how do you lose Pangallo in transition so easily? Grant came open in transition on numerous occations and just knocked down everything. He had a great game. I still do not know how NCC does not establish Geisler better in the post, though. On a night like tonight when they are raining threes you do not notice that. But if they could establish Geisler first and then go out side, you would think they would be an even stronger team. As for Highlands, Ben Watson was the only reason they were even in the game. He played GREAT!
