Newport is always going to be a hard win as athletic as they are. They have beaten some good teams this year.

Big win for Augusta. If you're an Augusta fan on this night, you are in for a party. If you are a Brossart fan, well, it's hard to swallow this one. Things have been rough for the Mustangs since the All "A". They need to bounce back and get a "w" in Erlanger against St. Henry on Friday. Nothing will be easy the rest of the year for the Mustangs. Congratulations to Augusta on a huge win tonight. Good luck the rest of the year.

Unbelievable Game. Both teams played there hearts out. The Young Mustangs have worked so hard for this all year. They never gave up. Congrats! Looks like this rivalry will continue to stay strong for more and more years to come!

First of all, i just want to congratulate both ball clubs. Both teams played there hearts out and the fans could not have asked for a more exciting game. The atmosphere was unbelievable. Brossart did a great job of hanging around and playing hard to stay in the game. They just had no answer inside. NCC just had so much more size. As far as the inbounds play at the end of the game, NCC was able to get that because of there size and that proved to be their advantage all night... SIZE. As far as the celebration afterwards is concerned. Lucky Charms is right. If someone from the Brossart staff would have celebrated in that way, the same discussion would be happening on here concerning a Brossart coach. I know Jimmy was excited after the game and that is understandable. NCC won a huge rival game at the buzzer and anyone from NCC was excited. But you can jump up and down with your players after the game in the locker room. Shake the coaches hand first, then celebrate. I know when you get caught up in the moment it is hard because you want to celebrate with your players and I know this rivalry isn't just any other rivalry. But i agree with the old saying, "Act like you have won before." Some bitterness on my part, maybe. But that is just my opinion. None of this should take away from the exciting game that took place last night. These kids fought hard all night and each team deserved to win. Congrats to both teams and good luck the rest of the year.

Campbell has been a much better defensive team than in previous years. I believe the last time I checked they had the 3rd ranked defense in the state. Due to their strong half court defense, the opposing team is likely forced to run more clock, resulting in lower scoring games.

I am sure Campbell is just happy to get back in the "win" column. They were on a 4 game losing streak. This could be the start to a winning streak.

EC is by far the team to beat in the tournament. If somebody were to knock them off, it would be a huge upset. Not trying to put down Shelby or Hazard. But all everyone has been talking about this year is EC, and for good reason. They are a very solid ball club and everyone in their community is excited at this opportunity. However, how many times does the favorite actually win the tournament???

Congrats to Deming. Being a Brossart fan my entire life, this one hurts. But i would like nothing more than to see Deming continue on and represent the 10th. Best of luck to Deming in the finals tonight.

I was at the game. First time I had seen both teams play. Just watching both teams warm up I thought that Middlesboro looked like the slightly bigger, stronger, and athletic team. I also noticed that Pineville can absolutely light it up from out side the arc. Both teams played hard throughout and put on a good show for the fans. Pineville hit a Buzzer shot to win the game. Pineville vs Deming would be a good match-up to see but whichever one of those teams wins that one, I think will have a really hard time with Elliott.

I am sure Deming is looking to get some revenge against Brossart this time after losing to the mustangs already. Game has the potential of being a good one. But I think Brossart pulls out with the "w".

The game was not boring at all as the score may indicate and the fans were into just as much! It was an outstanding performance on defense and the fans in attendance appreciated it. The student sections for both Holy Cross and Bishop Brossart were going back and forth and enjoying themselves too. So overall it was a fun game and a great win for the Stangs.

I have looked a few times on allaclassic.org and they are still not posted. We are all waiting anxiously!!!

I agree 100% Give coach code and the Brossart players a lot of credit. They came out right from the get go and put ball pressure on the ball and hit shots when they needed to hit them. That being said Highlands also may have played bad in general but Brossart played with a lot of heart. If Brossart plays Highlands 10 times, they may only win once and last night they may have gotten that win. But give Brossart credit. :dancingpa

Good for Brossart to get back on the winning side of things. Brian Wolfer led the Mustangs with 18 points tonight coming off the bench. Tomorrow might be a different story. Tough task tomorrow against Highlands who i am sure is not happy about their loss tonight. So they will be looking to get back in the "W" column

Have not seen Boone yet this year. Brossart will struggle against anyone with size so if Boone has any size, Brossart is going to have problems
