Nkysportsblog Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Wow surprised to see the margin of victory. Where'd all that scoring come from on the Mustangs? I would assume Rieger had a big night?
Dawg81 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Big-Big win for BB, didn't expect that score. :thumb:
nkyfuture Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Dixie beating Cov. Cath by 20 tonight and St. Henry losing by 20 favors well for Dixie to win the District.
mcpapa Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Congrats to the Mustangs. I'm getting glimpses of a drive to Alexandria and a trip to LaRosa's on Tuesday...
mustang mom Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 (edited) Mustangs played with determination tonight. Great win boys. ::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper: Edited February 14, 2009 by STRIKE3
Mustang Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Rumors of the Mustangs' demise have been greatly exaggerated!!! :thumb: Rieger led all scorers with 23, Joe Webb and Drew Kremer with 14 each, and Jordan Armstrong with 10. Cameron Speed held to 2. Cru led by Scott Volz with 10. Brossart led 12-5, then trailed 21-14 just into the second period. We then outscored the Cru 18-6 for the remainder of the half, and then won the third and fourth quarters 35-20. BB now 4-1 in the conference race.
wildcat2013 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 (edited) The worst part was that this was senior night for the cru. I believe they were held to around 10% in field in the second half. Good game for the Mustangs. St. Henry just didn't come to play and the stangs played some great d. Edited February 14, 2009 by mcpapa R13
GandW4life Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 Brian Wolfer's first game back from a broken foot. Mustang fans were reminded how much we missed him. Even if he does not score, he is a huge lift off of the bench. The Mustangs will take on Mason County Tuesday in Alexandria.

He is a big time help to this Brossart team.
polarbear1994 Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Congrats to the Mustangs. I'm getting glimpses of a drive to Alexandria and a trip to LaRosa's on Tuesday... I like the way you're thinking!
