Neither team played rather well. Neither teams can be happy with how they played but Since NCC got the W they will salvage some happiness. From What I understand Bueter has been playing JV all year until this game???

The teams in the Holy Cross Freshman Tourney this year are: Boone, Walton, Campbell, Saint Henry, Scott, Beechwood, Dayton, Holy Cross, Brossart, and Newport Central Catholic

What games are ridiculous in your eyes? I see that it forces great games. Bishop Brossart vs. Highlands in the most recent one that comes to mind.

Also, I do not know if it was mentioned but BB took two out of three from the birds. The BB Frosh won 46-34

I think this one will be close because the mustangs defense usually finds a way to keep them in any game... Higlands is a top program ranked 14 in the BGP rankings. Highlands will also be looking for revenge after Brossart upset the Birds last year in Alexandria... I predict a one or two point win with a score in the 40's... But I can't say who will win!

Anytime you come out of P-County with a win it is definately a good thing. It is such a tough place to play. Congrats to both teams on hard fought game. Other games: JV: PC 35, BB 30 Frosh: BB 38, PC 28

I could not have said it any better myself. All I hear around High School sports is criticism of coaches. Not quality criticism, but badgering and almost annoying criticism with no real knowlege of the sport. With Campbell County's situation, I personally have heard complaints from many fans, no matter who the coach is. There is almost no support. There is no point in complaining because fans can't do anything to change the coaching situation. All badgering and complaining does is put even more pressure on the coach. Support your coach whether you agree with him or not. If after a couple years of support there are still no positive results, then you can complain. I personally have played under Scott Code. He has tremendous knowlege about basketball and he truely cares about his players. He will do whatever it takes to win. So Campbell, give him some support rather than bad judgement. With time, success will come (just hopefully not against Brossart ). The district has something special with the great competition between Brossart, Scott, and Campbell. Lets enjoy the competition while the talent is around instead of doing so much criticising.

Maybe they do deserve a ranking, maybe not. But based on their past seasons they had to try and schedule some games where they needed to have a chance at winning. It's good to see Brossart on the winning end of a couple games. Hopefully they can keep improving each game.

Yes, Brossart plays Campbell County. The Districts are always held at Campbell County Middle school.

Brian Wolfer's first game back from a broken foot. Mustang fans were reminded how much we missed him. Even if he does not score, he is a huge lift off of the bench. The Mustangs will take on Mason County Tuesday in Alexandria.
