Good job Mustangs:dancingpa

Congratulations to both teams on a tremendous, well-played game that was a shame that either team had to lose.

Campbell County led 10-8 after one, and 18-13 at the half.

Brossart clawed back to make it a two point deficit at 23-21 after three and knotted the score at 35 at the end of regulation.

Both teams put up 8 points in the first overtime, featuring a Zach Fardo 3, and Brossart won the game in the second OT as Spencer Brown who had not factored all night hit three consecutive "instant replay" baseline baskets while the Stangs went 6 of 8 from the free-throw line to earn the 37th District Championship and advance to the 10th Region tournament.

The Camels end their season at 12-3 while the Mustangs soldier on at 14-8.

Congrats to both teams on a very exciting game!! Great turnaround from the first game by the young Mustangs--You got the one that counted!! Good season by the frosh Camels who were dominant in all but a couple games.

I know I heard the regionals are at the winner of the Harrison/Pendleton game, but does anyone know the matchups or times yet, or do they still need to draw??

This was one of the best games, Freshman, JV or varisty, that I have seen in years. Great Athletes on both teams. there will be some battles over the next few years !!!

Congrats to both teams on great seasons. Best wishes to Bishop Brossart in the 10th region tourney!

What an incredible game. Congrats Brossart! I am so proud of my Camels. They fought hard to the end. McGovney and Skinner are going to be very special players to watch.

Congrats Coach Maddy also to a great season.

Unbelievable Game. Both teams played there hearts out. The Young Mustangs have worked so hard for this all year. They never gave up. Congrats! Looks like this rivalry will continue to stay strong for more and more years to come!
