Don't know....Tompkins has been just as good as Spalding this year. Lefty junior throwing 86-88.

Did I read in another thread that Pugh now has 10 HRs?

Lexington Catholic 4 Saint Xavier 3
It was at Lex Cath. Ian Tompkins pitched for St. X and went 6 plus. Taylor Martin for Lex Cath getting the win. Outstanding game all around.

Lexington Catholic 4 Saint Xavier 3
Lex Cath comes back from a 3-1 deficit to win in the bottom of the 7th.

Augusta 5 Deming 4
Maybe that's how many players each team had, not the score?
-
Highlands 14 Bellevue 4
Word is that Highlands had 10 in the first.

Who are the top 5 candidates for a State Title at this point?
Lex Cath and Tates Creek are the clear two best in the city. After that it's Lex Christian and Lafayette. I don't think Dunbar has a whole lot this season.

Only 32 games allowed
I think mother nature is going to take care of a few cancellations this weekend.

Best Underclassmen
Chase Armstrong at Lexington Catholic. A sophomore and may be the best player in the city already. Also, Ian Tompkins at St Xavier is a tough LHP. There is a lot of underclass talent in the state this year. Conner Hempel is a pretty tough Junior at Ryle as well.

Lexington Catholic 10 Male 3
Only scoring for the Bulldogs provided by three solo home runs. Lex Cath was clearly the better team, and appear once again, to be the best team in the state.

Lexington Catholic 9 Lexington Christian 6 (5 1/2 innings)
5:30pm. Maybe they should consider starting their home games a little earlier in the future.

Lexington Christian Academy 3 Tates Creek 2
He may have, but that doesn't have anything to do with this game or thread.

All State Baseball Player Quits Trinity's Team
Oh well then there you go. I was confused.

All State Baseball Player Quits Trinity's Team
I trust you're not talking about Littrell, cause nothing could be farther from the case when concerning him. I really don't know who we are talking about right now to be honest.

Completely Meaningless Top 25 Preseason Poll
I don't think Lexington Christian should be there. But, regardless, a pretty nice list and I think Lexington Catholic will be good again. They have such a crop of young kids that will contribute (we're talking Sophomores and Juniors) that I think they could make a legitimate run once again. I think Lafayette could be substituted for Lex Christian. They have a very deep pitching staff and will surprise some people in the 11th.

Dillon Pelfrey commits
Really? That's surprising. He's a good athlete though so I'm sure he'd do well at either place.

Dillon is an outfielder.
