CovCath has lost senior Bret Stayton for the season due to a shoulder injury.

 

Really a shame, as the young man was hitting the ball very well this season and his bat has already been missed.

However, having watched him lead the Crazies in basketball I'm sure he'll be an asset on the bench.

Sad thing is Brett missed his Senior year of Football, in order to have his shoulder "fixed" so he could play baseball.

This is the 3rd time he's torn his labia, I believe. I know Brett pretty well and I can assure you he was very, very upset when he found out his season was over.

I went to CovCath today to watch the Frosh play and who do I see without the sling on? Bret Stayton! Seems he went to a different Doctor today and with a better MRI it showed that the tear was in a different spot than before and because of it, the Doctor has cleared him to DH.

 

He will not even be allowed to take infield but the smile on his face as he was telling me this, told me he could care less about that but he will be allowed to hit.

 

Huge, huge break for the Colonels and I am so happy for Bret to be able to get to at least DH in his senior season! See Bret, prayers do work! :thumb:
