  1. Accuracy is a good thing for pitchers and surgeons.
  2. where in his post does he says that he's bulking up? He could be throwing up 50's on the incline bench. Oh, and bulk and strength are great for lower half stuff.....throwing up a bunch of weight on squat is excellent for a pitcher

  4. Maile and Farris are neither on full rides. As has been stated, they are few and far between - especially when considering that academic money, state grants, etc make up a good amount of the difference. Only an extremely good player (talking high draft pick out of HS) with very borderline academics will approach the 80%+ range. Almost all players in D1 baseball who are on "full rides" are not getting 100% baseball money.
  5. d1's are allowed 11 1/2 scholarships. They have a 35 man roster limit, and only 7 of those 35 can be non-scholarship players. Everyone else who is on scholarship has to be on 25% baseball or higher
