I don't think there is any really dominant team this year in the state. I think there is more parity than ever before. From what I have seen thus far, even the aces of staffs are vulnerable this year (face it, there is no Maronde, Ross in the state), and it will come down to depth and heart, not just talent. This isn't to say that teams in the past couple years have just relied on talent (see CAL's remarkable run last year), but I think we're in the midst of a year where any team can make a solid run to Applebee's and come from nowhere. The rankings are more of a crap shoot than I can remember them being in years past. It's a good time to be the sleeper!

Drove across the river to catch this one....wondered if it would rain it out. Fidanza hit a walk off solo HR in the 7th. Wind was howling out....McCombs gave up two popups that blew out of the park....also balked in a run. At least five or six pro scouts there to see McCombs. Rueff pitched for Trinity.
