AJ Smith threw a complete game no hitter.:dancingpa

Congrats AJ and good win for the Tigers.

Congrats to AJ! Who pitched for NCC and was this in the All "A" Classic?

This was an All "A" game and #5 pitched for NC. Not sure of his name, sorry.

Nice job young man...a feat to always remember!

I believe his name is Nate Raw(?). He threw well enough to win but what it came down to was Smith. He was blowing past the NCC hitters. His curve ball was thrown for strikes from my angle, but the umpire called them balls and Smith recovered by sitting them the next pitch.

Chas Hyde had a solo HR in the first inning to set the tone for the Beechies. Congrats Tigers! Go get the Indians!

WOW! Great job AJ! Nonos don't come around that often except for the kid in Florida this year. Beechwood serves notice to the 9th 2nite that they are a formidable opponent on any given day.

Whose Beechwood going to throw tomorrow against Holy Cross?

Wow, NCC had to play Lloyd then Beechwood in a DH today, while Beechwood played only one game?

Yes that is correct. Beechwood received a bye in the first round. Due to rain, unfortunately NCC did not get the day off between rounds like scheduled.

Congrats to AJ Smith though. A no-no is a great feat and it shows that he is for real when it comes to pitching.

I would guess Snyder.

Thats my guess also.

Congrats go out to the Smith kid from this corner. Great feat, and to do it in a big time game makes it even more special.

Great job AJ. Now maybe people will stop wondering if he is one of the top pitchers in the 9th.

Didn't make a difference. AJ Smith was overpowering.

I would guess Snyder.

My guess would be either Larimore or Bertke. Snyder is the main reliever and comes in to throw one or two innings. Also, I noticed Snyder was catching Smith. I'm not sure if this is for the remainder of the season or just a one time thing.
