If Garrard can get the offense gets going early it may be to much for the Jumper defense. Garrard's defense has been solid the past two weeks and the first half of the Bell county game. Turnovers will play a major role in this game. I don't know how Somerset will be able to handle the diverse Garrard team. Home field advantage will assist Garrard as well. I see the final 35-28 Garrard.

Taylor pulled of what was considerd an upset. Idk if Taylor is the team to beat however. Garrard beat Jackson 67-16 and has played very well the past two weeks. I bet coach Cobb will have Somerset ready for the playoffs.

JV play is very important. Players get a chance to show skills in a more game like setting. Young players often dont get alot of practice time during the season because of multiple reps taken by the varsity players. JV games keep younger players interested in the game of football and allow the coaches view different aspects of the game. Yes, smaller schools run the risk of injury. Practice is just as dangerous.

I dont think the Bell game was a complete blow out. Yes the score was 50-6. However, Garrard wont see another opponent that is that physical or experienced all year. In the first half Garrard did a great job on defense. The Bethlehem and Jackson weeks will allow Garrard to work out the problems on offense and prepare for Somerset. Should be a great match up in Lancaster.

Mercer is to dynamic for Lincoln. Mercer can run or pass and has speed that Lincoln cant match. Unless Trey Edwards has a break through game and the defense gets some big stops, im taking Mercer 35-14

Jackson will not be able to compare with the speed of Garrard. Also Garrard only gave up 74 total yards against Bethlehem. I take Garrard 41-14.

Any word on how long Muse will be out?

Boyle pulled off a big win against Henry Clay. Danville hasnt beat that caliber of opponent yet in the season. Boyle comes away with a win 35-14.

Garrard controlled every aspect of the game. The defense only allowed 84 total yards, while rushing for 300+. Next week Garrard hosts district Jackson county. This will be a good game for Garrard to get off on a winning foot in district play.

This game will be decided by one thing, the offensive line of Lincoln county. If Trey Edwards has to run for his life like he did against Washington, it could be another heartbreaker for Lincoln and coach Settles. Im taking Tc 35-24

Bye weeks can be helpful if schedules correctly. Some teams often have the bye week before the playoffs, and others before a district rival. This allows teams to have that extra week to heal and study their opponent.

All 3 running backs return. Only five seniors graduated last year, and they were mainly on offense. Defense returns all but 2 starters.

How do you think this week 2 game will go?

Bell is to strong in all aspects of the game.Whitley will have to start from the 20 almost every possesion. Bell will grind the clock and pull out the win 35-7

McCreary Central and Corbin's fields are at the top of my list, I love Corbin's dugouts and and their Stadium seating. Are there any more pictures of their field? Maybe some including their seating?

Does any have any information about the injury that Trae Grey recieved? He was a major reason why Danville had 400 yards passing. Without him SW may have a chance to make this one interesting.

Bell did a nice job of controlling field position. Because of touchbacks Garrard was inside their own 20 all night. I was suprised that Garrard's offense didnt put up any points, the only score was a fumble recovery in the endzone.

It was a slow start for both teams in the first half. Tyler Mays had an outstanding third quarter returning a punt and interception for a touchdown. Central should have a great season ahead.

You may want to try contacting Champions, they have a huge fall league and may consider giving you a few games. They start this coming weekend but they may have teams back out and cancel too...
