How will Lincoln County match up against Tates Creek in the Governor's Bowl?

This will be the first ever meeting between these schools in football.

Lincoln County is coming off a 35-30 loss to Washington County in its own Death Valley Bowl.

Tates Creek also opened up with a loss to Campbell County 31-14.

Lincoln County played without three necessary linemen and their status for this week is unknown.

The creek by a td.

Lincoln by a td.

This is a tough one to call! I'm go with my gut feeling and say Lincoln but only by a TD!

I think Lincoln Co. gets its first win of season with a 42-28 score.

Tates Creek 26-21.

LC needs to get healthy. Without the key lineman, who missed last weeks game, the Pats will have a hard time stopping Tates Creek.

I have no clue what Lincoln county has I have never seen them play before. But I think the only way Tates Creek will have a chance against anyone in the state is if they change their starting quarterback. I dont think they can win a game with the same starting quarterback from last week. At the end of the 3rd quarter they made a change and put in the Junior quarterback and he was with out a doubt more comfortable in and out of the pocket and he unlike the starter could actually throw the ball with some accuracy. Hopefully this was something that was brought up after the embarrassing loss last week.

This game will be decided by one thing, the offensive line of Lincoln county. If Trey Edwards has to run for his life like he did against Washington, it could be another heartbreaker for Lincoln and coach Settles. Im taking Tc 35-24

Tough one to call I thought LC would win last week. I am picking TC because I don't think LC is healthy yet.

Who is the senior qb? From other threads I had read he was supposed to be outstanding-getting scholarships from major colleges, but I could be wrong. Guess I'll pick Lincoln in this battle. Good luck to both teams!

The senior QB is Rozell James, who is a super athlete who is being recruited by several d-1 schools. He will be a difference maker on Saturday, as will Chris Kemplin, people aren't giving Campbell Co. enough credit, Campbell Co. IS A TOP 10 TEAM IN 6A, the rankinbgs don't reflect that yet, but they are tough.
