I don't quite think it's a toss-up, and believe Highlands will win, but I don't think it will be the evening stroll that most think it will be.

I think this game will go exactly like last year. Two teams very close in ability and whichever team makes the fewest mistakes will win. I think it's an absolute coin toss.

I absolutely agree with you. Only stat that matters is the W and L column and regardless of how many on this forum and this thread think Highlands should have beat Boyle earlier in the year, they didn't. So, they won the contest of both of those stats. Most yards gained and most points scored. LOL

Great season for W. Jess, but it will end this week pretty convincingly.

Boyle did out gain Highlands 443 to 241. Heck of a 1 point game. CovCath, Highlands and Boyle are all right there together and will probably come down to the team that executes the best these last three weeks.

Hoping Coach French can make the semi's one last time before retirement. He has been good for Middlesboro football and I would love to see him win at least 1 more. I think it's tall task against Pikeville but I'm hoping !

I agree with DMC, but since they played last season, I believe the Spencer Co. offense will not catch North Oldham starring at the headlights. Could be a sneaky good game, but I'll go with NO in a close one.

Incredible turn around year for Danville, but Somerset should handle things this week. I think Danville scores some points and makes some big plays but don't see them being able to have nice long drives. Somerset by 3 scores.

Corbin should handle things pretty well. Lincoln has some nice skill players and their guys in the trenches on both sides of the ball are certainly not bad but they are nowhere near the O and D lines of Corbin. Lincolns QB Foster does a good job of seeing the field and makes a lot of nice 10-25 yard throws but he will more than likely be running for his life on Friday !

Worst SW season since 2013. Thank goodness they had Mercer on the schedule.

BTW, every time I typed "forced" the phone changed it to "forces", I know how to spell forced. Just didn't have the battery to keep making changes. Sorry. Good to see Bullitt East calm down after that 3rd qtr and retake the lead. Defense played pretty well most of the night. NH has some dudes as they do every year. East did a good job of holding Lunz in check most of the night. Josiah Hope is a GROWN man. He was a problem for East in the second half. Congrats to the Chargers, they get to play another week and have an opportunity to take on ST. X.
