The Defenders of Bryan Station (6-5) will come to "The Farm" this Friday night for 2nd round 6A playoff game vs. the Broncos of Frederick Douglass (7-4). These two teams met just a month earlier at Bryan Station the Broncos won that game 27-10. This will mark the 9th time these two teams have met with the Broncos winning the previous 8 games. This year all 4 of the 6A District 8 teams defeated all 4 of the 6A District 7 teams in the opening round of the playoffs. The game is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 14 at 7:00pm. The game will be on the NFHS Network. I also feel confident it will also be on Gilcod Sports as well but they have put out the next weeks broadcast schedule. I look for the Broncos to win this game and advance to the 6A quarterfinals.

Frederick Douglass wins again by 14+.

Trap game... Jordan Haskins being the new QB should definitely inject some energy into the Defenders offensive plans though.

 

Considering their only score in the regular season game was off a trick play, I still think Bryan Station will have a difficult path to the endzone. Their left tackle is almost a statue. I believe Lamonte Brown chases Haskins the entire game.

Douglass scores again and now lead Bryan Station 35-7 late in the 3rd quarter.

Bryan Station runs the kickoff back for a touchdown to make it now 35-15 after they get the 2 point conversion. That probably keeps a running clock off the board.

Douglass scores again with 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter to now lead the Defenders 42-15.
