Finally finished. The 6A State Champion Bullitt East Chargers open their new stadium tomorrow night. Gonna be PACKED.

This one is hard to pick. I kinda think GS will get them again. They are certainly a very fundamental football team and I like that ! Not sure I'd be braggin about not getting a running clock put on you though.

I agree with you, probably shouldn't have dropped. But I personally don't keep up with out of state teams very often. I would guess what Ashland accomplished this week was lost on most.

Bryan Station looked like a totally different team than they did against Franklin County.

Couple of places downtown that are good. La Cosa Nostra which is Italian. Copper and Oak, casual dining with gourmet burgers, steaks, chicken. Cattleman's, Cheddars, Asuka hibachi and sushi, Mi Pueblo mexican, all are on the bypass. We have what seems like 12 mexican restaurants but MiP is my personal favorite. Although there is a newer one called Sabor Americana that's pretty darn good. There is also a Wings and Rings but you are taking about a 50/50 chance on getting your food before the game is over with.

Everyone has bad games or bad halves I understand that. But Scott Co. didn't look very good against Lincoln Co., especially in the first half. I think their offense will give Boyle some trouble from time to time, option teams usually break off a few, but if they can't keep Boyle's offense off the field I don't think it's as close as some might think. I just don't see their D being able to keep them in it.

Pikeville is a very physical football team and looked like it tonight. I thought about half of LCA's players looked like they didn't want to be there. Don't know why or maybe just me. I thought they looked sloppy. Boley seemed to pass up open receivers for short or mid yardage trying to hit long strikes. Probably overly critical. Really liked Pikeville's physicality. Hensley was difference in game.

Doesn't erase history but I think it will be a while before BOTH schools challenge for a title in the same year.

It depends on what they can do to stop Hensley. If they can hold him to 100-150 I think it's a good game.

I'm not sure they've had a more important superintendent search....ever !

Chargers pull away in second half. Still a lot to clean up but making progress. Have several banged up for this early in the season.
