I think Male wins handily.

I don't think so. BE has a pretty darn good defense front, but Central just don't give you enough variation to have to worry about. Defense is stiff as usual. But handing to Stone, who is obviously really good, and hoping he finds a crease just isn't enough to beat a good team.

The Chargers defense played lights out and shut out Louisville Central. The offense did enough to win but need to continue to improve. RB position has been decimated by injuries but Central did a good job of shutting down the rushing of Qb Jack Zwernemann. Congrats to the Chargers on a good win. North Hardin is up next.

East has to be able to run the ball ! If they can't do that they will struggle. Injury bug hitting BE harder than usual this early in the season so it's time for the next man up to step in. I think this will be a good game.

Could be wrong but I just don't see Mercer stopping SW. I think SW wins by a couple of scores.

I think FD wins but I would like to think going into the 4th quarter that it's still up for grabs.

I could be wrong but I think BE's defense should be able to do a decent job with Central's O. By decent I mean holding Stone to 150 or so and a couple of scores. The big challenge will be if Central plays tight man on the outside and Bullitt East struggles to run the ball. The Chargers oline will have to play their best game of the young season.

There are teams who don't do that in a season. That's incredible.

Rockcastle does know they won't be allowed to play in the 1A playoffs, right?

Bardstown and Etown are the two that came to mind for me. 1-7 between the two of them. Bardstown should get another win this week though......they play Etown.

I agree with Unrivaled. North has a better shot than BC to close the gap, but district leadership says they will play so Coach really has no options.

Finally finished. The 6A State Champion Bullitt East Chargers open their new stadium tomorrow night. Gonna be PACKED.

This one is hard to pick. I kinda think GS will get them again. They are certainly a very fundamental football team and I like that ! Not sure I'd be braggin about not getting a running clock put on you though.
