The Green Wave travel to Mt Washington this Friday for the wrap up of the regular season. Meade comes into the game with a record of 3-6 but riding a two game win streak. They beat Taylor County early in the season and have just wrapped up district play with back to back wins versus Davies County and Central Hardin. Meade will finish the season in second place in district 2. Their first round opponent has yet to be determined. East comes into the game 7-2 riding a three game win streak after running the table in district 4. Most recently defeating Male this past Friday night in OT. East will face Great Crossing in the first round in two weeks. To be honest, Meade has struggled the last two seasons. They did finish second in their district but their two district wins came against Central Hardin and Davies Co. who are 1-17 between them with the 1 win being Davies Co. beating Central Hardin. I expect East will take care of business this week heading into the playoffs. Also believe this will end this series as I do not believe these two teams will play on the next two year schedule.

They will play Great Crossing in round 1 and if they win, which they should, they will more than likely play Ryle in round 2. Both rounds would be at home. After that it’s all up to the RPI and who is still in the playoffs will get reseeded. You are welcome.

I like Central by 2-3 td’s.
