St. X (8-3) will host Bullitt East (7-4) on Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 pm. In the 1st round of the KHSAA 6A Playoffs St. X beat Southern 49-0 and Bullitt East beat North Hardin 28-21.

Last meeting was 2000 with St. X winning 41-0.

Common opponents:

Boyle County 50 Bullitt East 7

Boyle County 14 St. X 3

Male 17 Bullitt East 14

St. X 38 Male 7

Manual 37 Bullitt East 7

St. X 28 Manual 17

Bulitt East 28 North Hardin 21

St. X 40 North Hardin 7

Based on the scores above, it doesn't look like this will be competitive game and could be a running clock with St. X moving to the 3rd round of the playoffs. The St. X offense with QB Mason Trimble and WR Marlon Harbin is tough to defend and the St. X defense is ranked #2 in 6A and led by LB Karsten Busch.

Looking at stats, the Bullitt East offense looks to primarily run the ball averaging 200 yds a game.

Can Bullitt East pull the upset or does St. X move onto the 3rd round for the first time since 2021?

St. Xavier. 35-7.

X easy 52-10

Bump.

TP94 ratings say St. X by 36. I'll go with 35-7.

X needs to show up focused and take care of business. Round 2 has been rough lately.

X 42-14.

They only shared radio link on social media posts so I'm assuming no streaming. Not sure why.

Not sure. X can and will call off the dogs whenever they want.  42-6.

Teams getting warmed up. Kickoff at 7:00.

St. X won toss and deferred.

St. X kickoff goes for touchback.
