Speed! No question about it.

Weather had nothing to do with it Bath Co. simply came out for 3 quarters and took it to Corbin. The hounds were very lack luster in their performance and were very lucky to win this ball game. Bath Co was much more physical then Corbin was tonight which is something that you don't see often is Corbin getting out physicaled. If Corbin continues to have stupid penailties, fumbles, interceptions, and dropped passes it will be over next Friday night against Prestonsburg. with all that said we still won the game by a good margin but it wasn't as easy as some would have expected.

Corbin's 7th grade travels to Somerset this Thursday for a big conference game against Meece, both teams are undefeated and have been beating there opponents by a big margin. This should be a great matchup of two very good football teams.:fight::fire:

SL and Whitley big schools or not very seldom or maybe never have beat Bell Co.

Hounds looked good very impressed with the running attack, offensive line blocked well. Was it just me or was the Foley kid every where on defense. Also big #34 Campbell is a hoss and he sure can kick the fire out of that ball.:banana:

Corbin looked very good against Danville and Wayne, Fritts, Watkins and Campbell ran hard and looked good. Corbin was much more physical than both Danville and Wayne, if Danville is the consenus #1 team in AA then Corbin is right there with them. Come November if the these two teams meet it should be a very interesting game.

Nick Mills Lineman for Corbin should see plenty of playing time for the Hounds this year.

If the info is coming from the parents I'm guessing they fudged the numbers just a little bit. The fastest you will see a kid from Corbin run is around 4.6-4.7 and they are very few that run that time. Blackwood who played just a few years ago was probably the fastest back that I recall and I believe he was clocked at 4.6 and neither one of these two kids are as fast as he is. I'm not knocking Caleb or Ryan because both will be excellent players at Corbin when they are through playing.

Foley will fill the LB spot vacated by Joseph Hamlin and Mills is likely to start Left Guard. This of course is if they come in and work for the positions Coach Jewell is not going to give any a position without them earning it.

I will agree with you on Fritts but I have to disagree with Campbell and Watkins, neither one of them have done enough to be put in the same class as Sizemore, Cook, or Neal.

It looks like the Hounds should be fine on the offensive side of the ball with the likes of Fritts & Watkins packing the mail. I believe that Freeman will suprise alot of people with his ability to play QB. The concern that I have is how will they be on defense it seems they will be young on that side of the ball.
