HCHS @ Lynn Camp this week.

Tall order for the Wildcats against the hordes of Black Bears set to invade the confines of Howard Stadium. IMO, it would take a perfect game for Lynn Camp to pull this one off against Larkey and Company. I do look for a very physical, hits-a-plenty game, though.

Any thoughts?

I always have thoughts. They aren't always relevant, but they are thoughts. I don't look for the 'Cats to start showing their stuff until they get their starting quarterback and right tackle back from injuries.

The Black Bears looked really good for a first game against a quality LCC team. Coach Larkey now has a good idea of what he has and what needs to be done. Look out for better team then the one that could have beat Letcher Central. We will have Green back so the defense may benefit a little from him being in at linebacker, he should provide the enthusiasm that we were missing in the second half last night. He should also see some time in the backfield. We have several quality backs with a good rotation they all should stay fresh throughout the game. Go BEARS!

I agree I am sure that LC and Coach Mitchell will give it all that they have.

LC is familiar with many of the Black Bears from their battles with Cumberland and Evarts. I do look for a good game out of this. Don't be shocked if LC hangs with the Bears and has a chance to win. Have to play to potential and accept the challenge.

Yes you are right. Coach Larkey will certainly make sure the team will do what needs to be done in order to come out with a win. If the Bears played Letcher later in the season their outcome would possibly be different. Good luck HCHS!!!!

I agree, LC has several athletes and fly to the ball on "D". It would help if they had everyone healthy and they have to keep their heads if they get down a score or two. If they can do that they are definately athletic enough to make things happen late in the game to put themselves in a good position to have a chance to win.

Lynn Camp will hang in there for a while, but Harlan County is to deep for the Cats. HC 28 LC 14

Everyone, with the exception of Jonah at QB, should be back and relatively healthy and in position friday. Gotta play LC Hitman football and hope for the best.

Good luck to you guys, I wish I could be at 2 games at once. Maybe on one of MC's long road trips I will drop over and watch LC play. Again, good luck!

I'm gonna pick HC in a route in this one, to much depth IMO. After a strong showing against LCC and a tough loss, they're comming out with something to prove.

Rule 13

They better come out with something to prove. I'm afraid with all this peace, love, and unity that we've all been preaching thru this consolidation process, they are lacking the enthusiasm and fire that drives them. The need to get mad about it.:fight:

I'd like to see them get a little more pep in their step. I'd like to see them just cut loose and play that smash mouth football that we all know they are capable of. :fight:

Lynn Camp will do well they have Dave Mitchell.
