  1. I agree but getting kids to practice at a county school where parents have to drive them 20-40- miles round trip or kids have to ride activity bus home the same distance is a different animal. Schools with 75-98% free reduced lunch. Average household income is 14-$18,000. What Dudley Hilton has done at Bell Co could not be done by more than a handfull of coaches.
  2. I'll add another place. Look for Coach Rains to be in Georgia next year or possible wait until 2012.
  3. Didnt take it that way. If the 2 play I think it could be a very good game.Hazard looks more like a 4A or 5A team. They beat a good Clay Co.team convincingly.
  4. Hazard is very good. Havent seen Mayfield. To say they CAN'T beat Bwood is a little out there.
  5. I have the fever year round. Fairview had a very good team. Undisciplined, and it will cost them next week. Jackets overachieved this year. Many picked them to come in 3rd in district but Coach Herron picked up 3 district title and 5th straight win over Lynn Camp.
  6. IMO T or X could not compete against the BEST teams in the NATION. I think 5 classes or 4 are not a bad idea. I still have no problem with 6 and we might as well not worry with it at least for 4 more years.
  7. If schools travel 2 or more hours on a school night to play a JV or Fresh game its their own fault and has nothing to do with 6 classes. As far as Friday night goes I would much rather my son be on a 2 hr school bus ride than out running around with his friends in a car.
  8. And I think that is alot more of a fraudulent joke, a fiasco of epic proportions than our system.
  9. AGREE!!!!! So what there are some blowouts...the best teams still end up winning and sometimes the best team maybe a 4seed or it just may be a big upset. There are also some very good 2vs3 games.
  10. Williamsburg started off strong and Nicholas couldnt recover. They couldnt pull a cat out of a hat!
  11. If thats the case then why would he already have his schedule finished for the next 2 years. All Whitley wanted was for Corbin to say, " we will give you a home and home in 2013-14.
  12. No where near right. Knox and Whitley would play them good next 4 years and Wburg would 2013-14. Just saying...
  13. That doesnt bode well for Lynn Camp or campbellsville...Did I use that word correctly?
  14. I'm not sure what the word would be for not playing Whitley. Corbins 8th graders won Middle State as 7th and 8th graders. They would be Jr and Sr the home and home series. They would get 2 home games to Whitleys 1. For some reason Corbin is avoiding.
  15. It appears Coach Jewell would not commit to playing home and home 2013-14. Sad, players, fans, alumni, boosters, communities, parents and SEKY football fans want to see it.
  16. My understanding is Whitley will play Corbin in 2011 and then Whitley play Knox Central in 2012 in the Pigskin. Whitley wants Corbin to play a home and home in 2013-14.So, in a 4 year plan Whitley would play Corbin 2 times at Corbin, KC at Corbin and thenCorbin would play 1 game at Whitley. Not sure why Corbin would not agree to sign a home and home in 2013-14.
  17. I think the home field playoff game is why we keep score during regular season. I would much rather be a 2seed hosting than a 3seed traveling. I also know over the years there have been some great 2vs3 games and I think Bourbon Co. won state as a 4seed and maybe Henry Clay or someone else made finals as a 4 seed.
