  1. I agree. But give me 13 picks you take 8 and I'll take my chances, especially when my picks come from all of Jefferson County and yours come from a specific area in most cases.
  2. This is about 5 class proposal. I don't think anyone has bashed T or X. I agree it is teenagers playing football so thats why I think the more success the better. De LaSalle has won 19 straight North Coast section titles. The State Bowl games have only being on 5 years. LaSalle is 2-2 and playing again this year. They are also in the OPEN division which is for the best schols regardless of size.
  3. I understand a line has to be drawn somewhere and 6 classes stretches as far as it will go but I just think it gives more and opportunity to succeed.
  4. WOW. I would have thought there would be an NAIA rule against it. I bet the head coaches from U Cumberlands, Union, Gtown, Cville will all be wanting to coach next year.
  5. Dudley Hilton was supposed to be Head Coach. I would not think he will be able to now since he is a NAIA coach.
  6. NO I don't think the Bengals should make the playoffs. You must be my wife because for some reason you keep wanting to tell me what my goal is and what I think. I bet the winless teams stay winless after their playoff game also. Maybe you should just stop watching and worrying about KY high school football and you wouldn't be so stressed.
  7. I agree, comparing the 2 is a joke. Where did I say my goal was everyone win a championship, show me where that is? My question is simply whats wrong with letting more KIDS and SCHOOLS win a district, region or state championships. How does it hurt? I would like to know number of players now as compared to 6 years ago. Not sure that is something the KHSAA keeps records on.
  8. 6 classes creates more opportunity for kids and teams to be successful. This will create more interest and more participation. This is HS football the more kids playing the better. So what 4 teams make the playoffs, so what there are blowouts.
  9. I would like to know what coaches were/are against it. Of all the coaches I have ever had conversation with over the last 4 years there were NONE against 6 classes. I will say it isn't more that 30-40 coaches that I have spoken to.
  10. There was imput from the coaches association and I believe a very lage majority was in favor. Maybe someone can come up the the info.
  11. There are only 32 teams in the NFL so winning the "SUPER BOWL" is a joke? So what there are 6 state champions, 24 region champs, and 48 district champs. It's high school football and the more success that is available the more kids will play..
  12. So, the only way to go to Highlands is to live in their school district?
  13. Is there open enrollment at Highlands and Northern KY? Can students go to any school they want without paying tuition or with paying tuition?
  14. Does tiution cover meals, books, materials for classes? Are there fees for playing sports or is this also covered in tuition?
  15. It is none of my business and I didn't try to make it my business. I simply ask ??'s I didn't know answers to and made statements that are true. Not sure why the jabs have to always be thrown but if it makes you feel better then go ahead. I have considered sending my child to private school but I think it's something I will reconsider.
  16. I am trying my best to ask ??'s I don't kmow the answer to. Why offense is taken to it I'm not sure? Can a parent volunteer and student do workstudy to cover other half or part of other half of tuition. Trinity doesn't win football championships because of star athletes. They win because of NUMBER of good players.
  17. OK, half tuition can be covered by need based aid. This is given by the school through $$ raised and the parent has to come up with the other half. Can the parent volunteer and student use workstudy to cover that half or part of that half? Athletics may not come into the equation but boys DO go to Trinity to play football and if you stopped football enrollment would drop.
  18. Obviously if a family CAN afford, cars, luxury vacations, big scrren tv's they can probably affort tuition. What if I'm a single mother, on welfare, of an 8 year old, 11 year old and 16 year old who happens to be an excellent football player? I want my 16 year old to go to Trinity to further his education and his athletic experience. Will he A. be turned down. B. Simple go for free or C. will tuition be covered by some other means?
  19. Hoffman was ALL-SEKC 1ST Team. Hendrickson from Pineville was Running Back of the Year.
  20. I'm wagering, even though we cant. Those 1st four will not all be on the schedule. I have been wrong before and maybe this time.
  21. I believe the small school division is Wburg, Pville, Harlan, Corbin, Mboro, LCamp
  22. I had read on another thread T was NOT playing Elder or CincyX.
