I dont know what kind of team OC is, but a good regional win to get the season started!

I was impressed/suprised by the score. Not that I didn't think WV couldn't pull it off, but as an alumni I know how few and far between wins over big schools come! The ladies must be pretty happy with themselves!

Final. Any thoughts/details?

Glad to see that SK played tough and did a lot better than many thought they would. Unfortunate that they couldn't have pulled it off- Good season Pioneers!

Shroder Paideia is a magnet school in the Cincinnati Public School system. From what I understand it is a pretty small school, but have had some fairly good sports teams in the past. From what I have heard, the team SK was to play this week dropped them from the schedule and SK had to scramble to find someone. Apparently Elder was a possibility. The game is at SK.

The ESPN thing was a joke bc the Brooks flying in on a helicopter comment seemed like a bit of a joke itself. Sorry for the confusion- did Brooks really arrive on a helicopter?

I know Woodland's MS school team is pretty good against thier competition this year (atleast their A team- Im not sure about the B team). With Woodland being on the same campus as Scott, I would assume that most of these kids would go to Scott. Hopefully this means good things for Scott's future.

Who stood out for Holmes tonight! Did Oden have another good game?

Yeah but thats based on LaSalle/GCL standards- they tend to be the weakest team from that conference. However, I would bet that a weak GCL team is still heads and shoulders above most teams from KY. JMHO.

Congrats to Holmes! How did Regal Lowe look on D? I really look for him to have a great year- he's a great kid!

Just wanting to know some opinions- if Ryle would have punted away those few times would it have made any difference in the game? Probably not much, just figured Id ask.

I heard he was going to transfer to St. Henry- it would have been nice to have him around in Walton, though!

Glad to see Burns has put on some muscle, he was a toothpick last year. Even if Walton is a favorite to win the All A, I think they are still a surprise team in the entire 8th.

I think Walton will give everyone a surprise this year. They are returning everyone from last years team who did better than most thought they would- and with a new coach- it could be interesting.

From what I hear, they have some talent coming back next year and they understand a little more what it takes to win games. Good luck to them next year. I hope to catch a few games.

And I hear he is the choice for next year as the Head Coach at WV. He is currently the assistant for the Girls team, but possibly came with the intent that this position would open up.

Sorry to see WV lose, but they finished the season out great. I expect big things from this team in the future!

The 32nd district (Grant County, Walton-Verona, Williamstown, Simon-Kenton) is pretty weak this year with all the teams being about as bad as each other (And Im a homer from that district). I really dont know who will win it this year.
