30-27? Did somebody play stall ball? That has to be one of the lowest scoring games I have seen all year.

Heard Dixon had a good game with 17 points out of 27.

Sorry to see WV lose, but they finished the season out great. I expect big things from this team in the future!

Not a stall-ball game by either team. Both teams played a very slow patient game. Walton actually lead 18-8 at halftime but got outscored 16-3 in the third quarter. Neither team forced an up-tempo pace, it was close the entire second half. The press hurt Walton in the second half and South Oldham took control. Congrats to the Lady Bearcats, who would have thought they would have made it this far! Good luck to South Oldham.

Sorry to see WV lose, but they finished the season out great. I expect big things from this team in the future!

 

This was the first time that I saw WV play this year and I was very impressed with their team and I think your new coach is doing a great job. I have read some things here and there but I have to say, they had a game plan and played a very nice game. Your height is great and with some impoved guard play - handling the pressure and improved passing and you all will be a tough team to beat.

 

South shot under 20% from the field for the game -may have only made one three pointer - missed several open layups - it was not a good shooting night - especially on their home floor. Youth almost caught up with them last night. They will need to do much better if they hope to tsay with Anderson on Friday night and make it a close game.

I was very impressed with the coach from WV. He will do a nice job there.

WV has a lot to be proud of. Cory Miller had a fantastic defensive game plan and his players executed it pretty well...they frustrated the young South players throughout the first half...I've never seen so many air balls from a team playing on its home court.

 

To the Lady Dragons' credit, they didn't fold, and came out like a house on fire in the third, then held on for the win.
