The LadyBearcats looked good tonight and moved the ball well! They had some trouble when a full court press was put on but with a little work in this area they can have their game looking real good.

Nice win for the Bearcats. Four girls in double figures led by Dixon with 22. This team is only going to get better!

Great way to start the season for the Bearcats. Good job to the Coach Miller and his staff.

I was impressed/suprised by the score. Not that I didn't think WV couldn't pull it off, but as an alumni I know how few and far between wins over big schools come! The ladies must be pretty happy with themselves!

Walton looked good last night. I think they will surprise some teams this year.

I wasn't at the game, but heard that Walton looked good for their first game.

 

Also heard that Walton's Katie Slavey shot the ball well last night especially from behind the 3pt line. Walton should have a nice team this yr and hopefully can be a force come March.

Really shouldn't surprise anyone in the 8th...this team is definitely among the top 5-6 teams in the region, and will be a force to be reckoned with.
