Beechwood won the first frosh semi game.

Have not seen a thread on this for 2025, so here goes. JV semifinals were this morning at CovCath. I know Ryle and Highlands are in final 4, but do not know matchups. Frosh semifinals are later today with Beechwood and Brossart squaring off in game 1 and CovCath and Highlands in game 2.

Yeah they already have a pitcher with an arm issue.

Struggled a little with Newport’s length inside. Heated up in the late third and 4th quarters. They don’t have much size, but if shooting well from outside they can beat people.

Well seemed to me that Highlands stepped up pressure and hit some big contested shots to get back in it late. Guess depends how you want to spin it.

Maybe Highlands tried to take it away?

So based upon what I am reading above, Harris will be moving positions next year? I think he transitions well to wide receiver. The Jacobs kid is a player as well. Best hands on team is Feldbrugge. The Benke twins should be solid contributors especially on defense. This is the first time that I can remember Highlands playing this type of schedule with the talent currently on the team. There were many times when these games were scheduled right before or right after really good teams were playing.

This team has been a farce for the last decade plus.

Looked like a big night for Ty Berry.

The season is over and time to flip the script. Very very tough schedule next year that is going to test the kids, staff and fans. Plenty of talent on both sides of the ball to compete and win a state championship. One thing that I would like to see improve is the special teams return game. Biggest question mark for me is at QB. If Litmer is your guy, then you need to find a place for Harris to play and make use of his athleticism. Also need to have a few packages where Tayden plays QB to utilizes his physical talents and his natural gifted abilities as a football player.

Hate to hear that about any young athlete and wish her nothing but the best. If you don’t mind, please keep us posted as time passes and let us know how things are progressing.

Can someone elaborate on what is happening with this player? If hurt then hurt, but why leave school?

Better question, is he THE backup? I would make an argument that Tayden should be given shot at QB1. However, they may be better as a team of Litmer is QB1 because other 2 can play somewhere else.

Did the Davie kid not play football this year?

Do those commenting realize that this thread was started prior to the 2023 football season?

Highlands returns a lot next year and will be a top 4A team without question. Obviously think they will be pretty strong considering Boyle and Freddie D are on the schedule.

Broken finger, hand or wrist. Out for season.

If Highlands runs the table next year then they will have had a GREAT season.
