Wow, a mild surprise in Fort Thomas last night.  Sounds like a heckuva game, a double OT thriller, and everyone certainly got their money's worth.  

Congrats to Coach Richey and the Birds, missing Marissa, and getting the big win over the Indians.  

HC doesn't have much time to think about it with Cooper on the docket for Thursday night.  

That's a huge win for the Birds! Congrats!

20 points and 15 rebounds.  Looks like Highlands was able to exploit HC's lack of a true "big".

She was only 2 of 10 from the line, so it could have been an even bigger night.  Young lady trues up her FT shooting, she is in line for a huge senior campaign before heading off to Furman next year.

Highlands was 9 of 17 from three, that will certainly work!

Nelson in foul trouble early. Fouled out in the 4th. Did not have her services in either OT. 

Exciting game to watch but also frustrating that there is no shot clock.  The first overtime was like watching grass grow with Holy Cross just holding the ball and making no attempt to run a play or attempt to score.  Felt like a throwback to what girls basketball was for years...boring.

Holy Cross was in deep foul trouble all night on the road, including Aumani Nelson fouling out and missing the last 11+ minutes of the game. In the overtime periods Holy Cross had to limit the possessions and try to win it that way. If it was an issue for Highlands they could have come out and guarded them man-to-man. They sat back and let HC run the clock. Zero issues with it !

Sad that they were stalling.  Even if Nelson fouled out Holy Cross is a more talented team.  Agree throwback and boring.

Stalling or forcing Highlands to come out of their zone and play defense. As soon as they came out to play HC started playing also.

Highlands the favorite to win the 9th.
