I do not see how they could vote Atwell rather than Hayden as the QB for this team. Hayden WON 2 state championships while Atwell won zero. Also, when they played head to head this year in the state final, Hayden led his team to a title that really wasn't close. that's my two pennies on that.

Trinity Athletics X (formerly Twitter) account states Sr. Carson Hilbert was named to Kentucky All-State First Team as the kicker. I no longer subscribe to C-J, but this does not match up to the list provided by Colonels Wear Blue. Can someone please verify this information, thanks!

The C-J has been conducting the All-State poll since 1917. The sports writers originally traveled from all over Kentucky and met in Louisville to discuss and choose the All-State squad.

I don't ever want to hear anything about a Trinity bias from these clown coaches again...The Shamrocks play Center Grove, Carmel, Cincy X, Lou. X, Male, Ballard, Douglass, Ryle, etc. EVERY YEAR and average 11 ppg on defense and we've had 1 linebacker and 1 DL the last two years...

And if you don't think we have any players on the defense, then you should have Cobb as the Coach of the Year...instead it goes to a loaded up 1-A who played some real barnburners against Nicholas County and Fairview

@thsrocksCarson made it as the punter because apparently there are 75 kickers in our state who can hit from 55 to go ahead in the playoffs against a rival...

Tough year for an All State team. Tons of very good players but almost no clear-cut-best-at-their-position players. I would say Quisenberry is as close as you get and I would argue the Johnson kid from Cooper and Barber from BG are pretty close to him.
