  1. Just a quick word to congratulate you Rams on a great season. You played a tough schedule and prevailed and you should be proud of your accomplishments. Hold your head's high and i salute your season with a weenie dog and coca cola.... see ya next season.:clap::clap:
  2. Good luck to you orange and black from the holler .:thumb:
  3. Rams ........ I wish you luck Friday night. You will be playing a very very tough opponet. My prayers are that all make it back healthy with no injuries. You guy's have really impressed the public after a slow start. Just remember ...... ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE ..... I recall an article in the Chicago Tribune on Nov. 3 1948 that read " DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN " . So .... :idunno::idunno::idunno: You got to believe fellas. :thumb:
  4. Fairview wideouts and running backs helped the Rams out alot in this game they could not catch anything alot of drop passes. I do not think that will be the case in next weeks game. LCA is a totally different team and the secondary for Raceland will have its handful. The Rams did stop the running game of Fairview I think me and Curtis Lowe was guessing that Fairview may have had a total of 5 first downs. I could not recall any in the first half the score for the Eagles came on a 4th down play when the Rams secondary ran into each other. They may have got one or two in penalties but I could not recall any by the offense.
  5. Good luck Friday night Rams. Fairview CAN be beat. East Carter proved that. It's all about the size of the fight in the dog .... or in this case the Rams. Good luck fella's. :thumb::thumb:
  6. I was told the Mckee boy did not play or did not see alot of action along with serveral other boys that did not dress . Is the flu bug hitting Raceland to play slugish in this game that everyone said would be a blow out. Could Paris be better than the Rams Nation thought they would be.
  7. I was told they lost Brooke Keeton she transfered to another school. Any truth to this. Also I think they have to improve on ballhandling seems like the guards panic with they get pressured.
  8. Would Raceland take a chance on playing Barr if it rains tommorrow night. If he is really not needed in this game buy the way everyone is posting on here.
  9. You will probably never see this again but I'm going with West on this one. They are well balanced and I believe Bond is one extremely good athlete.
  10. Congratulations to you RAMS. You wollered us all over the field. It was hard to watch from my side of the field. Good luck to you guy's for the rest of the season. Raiders .... You got Lawrence Friday. We better be ready.
  11. My sentiments exactly. I would have never guessed this. Sorry oldrambler. .... the hot dog I toasted to you tonight for your birthday was pretty good though. . It got ugly over here in Raidertown tonight too... quick. I'm just speechless. Hope to see you Friday night at Raceland though... Is RAM buying dinner that night ?
  12. Congratulations goes out to Coach Brown and the Comets. Bond you are an amazing athlete. This had to be one of the worst officiated games I have ever seen. I told Sidelinedoc that I hoped we didn't get the crew they did last week but it looks like we did. I am not taking anything away from West. They kicked our rears and just out played us but these officials are going to get someone hurt bad if they don't start calling these games right. They are allowing too much to go on. There was a personal foul / late hit on the last play of the 1st half that put one of East's players out of the game. Nothing was called. Right in front of the official. Coach asked what happened and the ref. just threw up his hands like he didn't know and didn't care. Wow is all I can say. East ... you have Raceland next week .. another pass happy team and got a pretty good running game too. Let's get fired up fella's.
  13. I seen that Raceland would not kick to Carter the same can be said for Greenup not kicking to Raceland. Raceland has alot of work ahead of them, sounds like they still need help in a couple of positions. The coaches better find them quick the games start to count week after next for them. Even though all of them really counts.
  14. :dancingpa:dancingpa HAPPY BIRTHDAY oldrambler :dancingpa:dancingpa I won't be in Ramland tonight to wish you in person but I'll toast you with a hotdog from Raidertown tonight. Or 2...3 .. you get the picture.I have a good feeling the Rams will make this a memorable Birthday for you. :thumb:
  15. I hear he has all the wealth.:lol::lol: I work for the state so that should tell you what I make. The State could fire me and CURTIS LOWE who works with me and never even see any savings.:lol::lol:
  16. I just can't envision the Rams dropping 3 in a row and definitely not to Greenup. My vote goes for a wild night for the Rams. Ristner get's the cobwebs/jeeters out and does what he is asked to do. Raceland by 20. GO RAMS :thumb::thumb: Next Friday night the Raiders come to town and well ... I got to vote for my Raiders then. Hopefully Barr will still be waiting to play.:lol: I hope to make this game and possibly put a face to some names on here. And also to grab some of those awesome sausage sandwiches you all make so well. :thumb:
  17.:lol::lol: I'm going to stick with my Raiders. West will definitely come in looking to walk out with the barrel but I believe Coach Baldwin will have them pumped for this one. This will be another slober-knocker that is for sure. I hope we have a good officiating crew and hopefully not the one you fella's had Friday night. Good luck to you guy's in RamLand Friday night.
  18. Thanks good buddy. What a win. :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa It was a heck of a game. We won her in the last 2 minutes. Man you talk about exhilirating. Coach Baldwin told me they were going to surprise some people this year and ... WOW.... I sat in the endzone on the Fairview side , me in my Raider shirt with my Raider bell, 5 hot dogs , diet coke, sitting by my wife in her Fairview shirt telling me where I could stick my bell ..:lol::lol: Man it was awesome. It was a great night in Raider country. Fairview... you guy's gave us a GREAT game. Thanks for a great night. Good luck Eagle's on the rest of your season. Coach Baldwin ... congrats buddy .... a great win and a great dedication to Dave Baldwin ... God bless him. Raiders ... :thumb::thumb::thumb: The comets roll in Friday. Rest up and then its whuppin time again.
  19. My wife is from Fairview so this should be an exciting time in the Raider stand's.:eek: Watch that first step on the bleachers it's always a doozie. :sssh::sssh: We usually don't talk sports or politics in the house but this weeks been ... well... a long one. East better win this one. hahaha
  20. I just saw on the Ashland Daily Independent's website that Coach Aaron Baldwin's uncle David Baldwin has passed away. David was involved with the East Carter football program for quite a few years. Please keep this family in your prayers. My prayers are with you and your family Aaron. Dave will be sorely missed. God bless you guy's.
  21. I'm going to go with my Raiders. :dancingpa:dancingpa GO RAIDERS :dancingpa:dancingpa
  22. I wish the Rams good luck Friday night. I was told Fleming had a good passing game but apparently I was told wrong. i haven't had the privilege to see them play on tape or live yet. :isurrender: I wish you orange fella's well in Flemingsburg for I will be in Grayson hooping, hollering, and going down right crazy for my Raiders. The weather should be perfect , the food fresh, and the blood will be pumpimg. GO RAIDERS :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
