Raceland coming off an impressive win that 90% of people thought wouldn't happen the way it did. This marks the road to the playoffs for the Rams, bieng the first district game of the 09 season. Raceland fans may FINALLY get to see Jeremy Barr suit up for this one as well. I know I'm excited for that, I've been waiting all year to see if the hype is true. The game will be played at Raceland.

The Rams start District play this Friday night. This will be our first opponent under the 3A level. What does everyone think?

I was proud of the Rams this past week, they played with Heart, Passion, and Desire, if they keep that up, they should win this game. I want to continue to see improvement more then wins, I hope they just keep improving, and I expect them to in this game.

Rams win their distict opener.

I don't think that the Rams will have much trouble in this game if they play with the heart, passion and desire as Ram was saying in an earlier post. They can run away with this game just like last week if they play the way they should. They will be prepared no doubt. I just want to thank the offense and defense line play last week vs East Carter. The O line gave our QB lots of time to read the field. And the D line played great. IMO that was the difference in the game. Our line play out played East Carter on both sides of the ball.:thumb::thumb:

Raceland names the score in this one.

Raceland seems to "hopefully" have gotten some negative attiudes worked out and last week played true Raceland Ram Football for the first time this season. This team needs to build on that momentum and stay focused on "TEAM", get everyone on the same page, keep them there and continue to improve. As sidelinedoc said, the 3A,4A,5A portion of our schedule is over now with the exception of one game.

This is District Schedule time! There is no more room for slip ups and/or taking games off and not playing with all out intensity. Everyone on this team must pull together and work toward the goal of another District Championship and playoff run.

Rams.....the first game of the season is this Friday night. Get focused, stay focused, concentrate on your coaches game plan, pick up that lunch box, work hard every day in practice to collect your pay check (a "W) come Friday night.

It took longer than I or any Ram fan would like it to but the offense finally fired on all cyliders and we had 2 defensive TD's, the first 2 of the season. We also nearly had a special teams TD. We nearly matched our point total for the year with this one game. This was a game that finally showed some of the talent we have. Good job, boys. This week starts the real season and it's time to TCB out on the practice field to get ready for Friday.

Raceland 21-14.

The Rams are rolling now, and will win their district opener. :thumb:

The Rams take this one. Nicholas Co. can be a physical team, so we've got to come out and take control early.

Rams roll in this one. By 20.

Racelands also needs to stay diciplined, no stupid penalties.

Exactly. There were 2 passes on our first drive that could've been picked by East Carter defenders that were not. If they had have picked one, the complexion of the game may have been a lot different. So, to add to no stupid penalties, no turnovers!

............no stupid penalties, no turnovers!
