I was shocked when I heard both were gone from the team, good luck to both young men. With Barr back and healthy, adding a good ground threat should take some heat off Farley......for the most part these teams have looked for the pass and could go after our QB. Reed is a soph., has he played much at QB in the past?

Reed is a smart kid and a great kid. He has speed and looks like he has good hands. But for some reason he has had trouble throwing this year. I guess it's a confidence thing.

It was nice when we had Rister as a starter or a backup, it is easy to get a QB banged up and we could be in a world of hurt if that were to happen. Can't wait to see Barr on the field, should help this team alot. It seems this team is bonding, you can see it on and off the field. Lets go RAMS !!!!

Rister went to somewhere in Ohio, Ripley I believe. As for Troxler I do not know. Maybe back to Greenup with all the others.

Kids come and go for various reasons...they're still good kids, but the bottom line is the kids who want to play Raceland football are still here, so enough with the drama. The real season begins Friday.

If the Rams stay focused and follow the game plan, they're back to .500 and on the right track. GO RAMS!!!

Why do we have this thread Raceland wins in a easy one, 48-14.

Yes we do. Back up is only a Freshman.

If Mr Farley goes down I can see a direct snap to the halfback offense. Just kidding. But maybe not to far from something like that. Blankinship can run but I don't know if he knows the offense yet. We don't need our QB going down at this point.

I was bieng serious. I really thought he might have went back with the others. But I do agree, the ones who want to play were on that field Friday night. And you could tell by their play that they wanted to be there as well :thumb:.

I can't wait to see Farley hit Barr with a pass in the open field. Plus he should really help out at the safety pos. Only four more days RAMS till the real season starts. preseason is over.

Amen! I can't wait to see him turn that corner with the football, lower that shoulder and punish someone!

Coach killers.

As a former coach (L. Heck) at Raceland used to say....."dang it" son, you are going to fumble my job away!!

:thumb: Everything I have heard on him is that he is the "Real Deal" and definately a "Difference Maker".

I can just imagine how anxiuos he is to finally get on the field and play Raceland Football.

Rams cruise.

Simple. For all of us to have something to talk about.

I don't want us to put too much pressure on Jeremy, but I do think he could be a difference maker. And, if by some stretch of the imagination, Nicholas does run a pass play down field, I hope their receivers keep one, or both, eyes on Barr, for their sake.

I don't think he will have any pressure on him from the fan base. After talking to someone very close to him. It sounds like they (coaches) may have to try and calm him down by friday night. He is wanting to play so bad. It has been killing him not being able to play. I didn't think he was going to keep it together during the East Carter game. He had his hopes of playing a little vs EC. But the score got a little out of hand and they decided to hold him out till the first District game. He will be pumped and ready for this game. No pressure just excitment building.:taz::taz::banana::dancingpa

He wanted to play but he wasn't released by me until yesterday.
