Yes I did see Danville. And ran track against Kelvin. And trust me I've been beaten by plenty of Beechwood/New Cath teams. That's why I said ONE of the best and not the best.

I believe you are ascending on a road thats not supposed to be taken on here... Mayfield did not play anyone like LCA all season and I said that, that would really hurt them in the finals. Maybe had they played someone who was explosive as them it might have been different. But I'd be willing to say that the coaches/players just hadn't seen anything like it and didn't know how to react.

Hayden not blessed with speed? He runs a 4.5...That's no Chris Johnson but I don't think that means he's not "blessed" with speed.

I thought it started at 3 did I miss something? Haven't really kept up with it. Edit:Just realized it's a different time zone.

The only two I have actually seen this year is Dominique Hayden and Miles Simpson. I say Miles Simpson wins.

The second game was a little closer than the score showed. It was a close game at halftime! But Highlands ran away with it in the second half.

Good Luck to them I hope they do well. I went to a few games last season and plan to this season as well.

Not for me. This was the worst Raceland game I had been to in years! The game was VERY boring until the last few minutes. Low scoring with nothing really going on. Not to mention it was Raceland's worse played game in probably 4 or 5 years.

Raceland's win over rival Russell. And the comeback victory in the 4th against Campbellsville.

How many turnovers has LCA had all season? I'd say they had half as many last night as they have had all season. Did Hazard come away with points on those turnovers? How about penalties? I saw where Mayfield fumbled the ball 3 times(only one bieng a turnover) and had 8 penalties as well. Next week may come down to penalties and turnovers.

I believe he is only a sophomore. Plan on him coming back the next two years to make up for it!:thumb:

I figured Mayfield would win but a little bit surprised at the margin of victory. Is the Beechwood era over? I'd say not after only having one down season. But is there hope for a better ball team next season?

I followed the updates and listened to the last half of the 4th. I was very surprised it came down to the wire like it did. Maybe it's a good thing. LCA hasn't been tested very often this season. This was a great game to have the week before the state title.

I'll take LCA 62-12. Then 42-14 the following week.

That's why Raceland does as well as they do. There were some things this year that this team had to overcome. And that goes for everyone even the coaches. I think this year was somewhat of a learning process. Some things will be changed next season. The stuff that occured this year will not happen next year. And the coaches really showed the younger guys that towards the end of the season this year.

^^^After rereading that post it makes it seem that I'm saying LCA can't be beat. They're in fact the favorite. But in the game of football anyone can win on any given day. That's what makes this sport so great! Best of luck to all remaining teams. I'm going to do my best to make it back to LCA next Friday as well as Bowling Green!

LCA is head and shoulders above the rest. No use ranking the other teams....
